Guys we think that what they show on movies does not connect in real life but it does.

Biggest example is the recent marriage proposal for my BIL's son. We got connected through our relatives and after exchange of profiles , matching of horoscope of bride and groom we decided to meet each other along with bride and groom. Accordingly brides parents who are staying in Vizag came to Hyderabad and arranged meeting in their elder daughter's house. Now 1st twist is when my groom said yes to the girl and inturn the girl said no. He asked the reason. What she said is "she is not ready for marriage". (Please note groom is 34 & bride is 291/2 both are working and waitng to get married). Shocked we all came back home. Later in that day the girls father calls us and says not to back off and there is some miscommunication which they wished to meet us on the same evening and clear. We said ok. Accordingly they all came alongwith girl. Again arranged for boy and girls meeting. For every10 words my boy spoke she only spoke 2 words. Still he overlooked and asked her to open up. Then she says that she was in a relationship since 5 years and broke up 8 months back. To this our boy asks has she moved on fully and ready to start new life, to that she says need two days time.

Next day she texts that she is ready and wish to move on and that her parents will meet us for further talks. After that she did not exchange any message or replied to any texts my boy sent.

Now 2nd twist accordingly girls parents alongwith relatives came to our house for further talks saans girl.

3rd twist is after talks what they did is simply put a message on phone that read "we are not suitable to your standards and hence backing off. Sorry".

Now all of us are confused what made them say so because we agreed to what ever they said offer.

Ultimately marriage proposal bombed.

Is this not some plot of a show or movie?

Now I am scared about my sons future with respect to girl and alliance.

I think the girl is not ready and parents are forcing her. When she is not ready, wny bother, the groom will get a better girl. Glad it all panned out the way it is, everything happens for the best, guess parents were putting too much pressure on the girl who finally managed to influence them and good for your groom, What is the need to get into such a one-sided relationship, he would not have been happy. Vibha there might be better one waiting for the groom. But the point is these days it has become near to impossible to get a suitable bride in our caste once the boy crosses 30. All thanks to erase girlchild while in fetus and dowry system previously. Now the scenario has entirely changed.

And this match was reffered to us by our close relatives who very well knew both the parties.
