India doesn't have a national language.

He's going off on a bs tangent ffs. A year of south movies making a name for themselves and these ultra insecure Bolly honchos are already losing their minds.

It's highly ironic coming from Ajay whose only movies that have worked in recent past have been south remakes.

Did India have a national language?

We have 14 or is it 18 official languages in India and all of them are considered as national languages to my knowledge.

This Hindi speaking population and more specifically Hindi film industry is getting frustrated because their films are not being accepted across the entire country despite being dubbed and released in local languages. Their leading men are not being accepted as leads.

This frustration is showing up.

No, we never had a national language

There are two official languages of Union - Hindi and English

States can decide their official language

There are 22 scheduled languages in Constitution of India

Looks like some planned PR campaign. Ajay is hardly active on SM, such posts out of nowhere just scream PR.

Such a timid/meek response from Sudeep. Why is he afraid to call out Ajay Devgan's bullshit language chauvinism?

See this is part of what I was talking about in the other thread. When these people talk about Hindi on set, they usually mean non native speakers need to conform or else.
