The "O" episode!
A good episode. Guess it began slow and got the better culmination (proposal).
Sai's confession was nice and cute. Her words and expressions clearly portrayed, the coming of age, realisation of a never before felt feeling, the innocence of first love, the apprehensions and the hesitation and excitement were all there in right proportions. Making it seem so real ..so Sai.
V's excitement was palpable. The way he closed his eyes at her revelations. The longest wait coming to an end, the patience paying off, and finally his heart is content and filled with love and the satisfaction that his love is reciprocated. His heart is anxious yet at rest.
My only complain, when he said "Main tumse bahu bahut pyar karta hoon". The way he said with his finger pointed looked a lil exaggerated. But rest his smile, expressions just said his heart's tale.
Can I do a small jiggy? My predictions came true the second time. V did call out the fact that he has loved her for a long long time, and he wanted to actually propose to her on their anniversary. I wanted him to call this out for her know that he has loved her since a long time, but also to the family who were oblivious to it. To have the fact readily registered in their minds. It was a complaint but not an accusation. And she hugged him with a cute sorry and she was forgiven like it never happened. The hug was done well. Also, I did mention she took her set of clothes leaving behind V's. The wedding attire.
Team Sai was ecstatic. They were part of their love story in phases or wholly. Secretly or openly encouraging and conspiring their union. The genuine happiness on display. Their excitement was vibrating and the shrills were felt in the ears of the ones who hated the events in progress. Karishma is another unique one. She is happy with anything that creates controversy, anything unusual. Whether it is Team Sai or Bk Gang. She is happy in her own shell. She did pass her usual taunt at P and V and Sai gave "not the sore mention at this point, dont spoil the mood" expression.
P finally had the last straw of hope slipping out of her hands. Thats exactly why it had to happen in her presence. To shake her and give her a reality check. Samrat needs no more confirmation. His comment and her lack of response confirmed any doubts. I'm not sure, if he is waiting for P to accept the truth and make way for him in her life.
Blooper - P left before V proposed. Then how did she know that they are getting married when she had that self talk inside near the hawan kund? Oh ya! She knows V so well. She knew V would propose a remarriage to Sai. đđđ
Sonali was so desperate to get her quota of drama. The way she constantly poked BK to speak was so irritating. But Sai was in no mood to let anyone break the momentum. She was so happy that she just didnât let any of it dim her excitement nor did she get provoked to respond with a taunt. She didnât care.
The lift was smooth. I guess the best of all till now. The proposal felt right, though a lil filmy again with their like minds think alike, made for each other statement. Despite the entire cast shooting together, they managed to act and present the entire scene without any awkwardness or hesitation. It looked really smooth. And the expressions were also complementing. (Not sure if P's leaving the scene was a conscious decision). But we have said, they have hit jackpot with their leads. They ooze chemistry by just being in the same frame. It has been missing for sometime now. But the sparks were seen again. This show wouldn't have survived if they didnât, with the kind of "touch me not" romance they show.
This was an "O" episode. Sai & V packed sixes one after the other, and the family esp BK gang O formed on reflexes. That was their constant expression. The moment they resumed their normal irritated expression another shocker was thrown their way and they returned to their "O"s.
P is desperate to the core. She is making her last attempt at stopping the marriage. She accepted that this marriage means the end of all means for her to be with Virat. Not sure how was still hoping though. She instigates BK and gullible woman she is, she runs at the count of three. BK doesn't even realise that it is not BK but P making her run around to her tunes like a puppet. And worse, the family she swears to protect, is running the risk of breaking due to her own incapability and actions.
The marriage itself had such a good feel The rituals, music and the acting was done so well. Just the right ambience.
But there has to be a party popper and a speed breaker. I have a feeling that V will stand by Sai. Either by just postponing the explosion to later, or taking it headon. He will speak for though. My inkling - The usage of the words of being a wife and being a DIL of the house. While we do agree that one is an extension of the other, it is yet different. And that is where I see the catch from the promo and precap. I wish V stands tall against it all, and the wedding happens in all its grandeur, and Sai's expression in the promo is of being "Overwhelmed by V's love and support". And P loses her last standing wicket to stop the wedding. Beizzati hui re!
I know I'm becoming over confident after the 2 predictions, but just a small wish to the list. Karishma always has her foot in the mouth. After the epic flop of P's plan, can we have Karishma call it out loud for everyone to hear "Patralekha Bhabhi aapka to ye vaar bhi khali gaya, Kaku ko bhadkane ka koi fayda nahi hua".
