That's how I saw it too - Virat & Sai are the role reversal of the alpha_male-beta_female trope. Sai is the doer, the fixer...Virat is the nurturer, caretaker. Virat's aggressivene, abusive behaviour unfortunately come from being raised in a chauvanistic, toxic household...in a saner home, he would have been a much better man.

See, its not an openly chauvinistic approach but its the minor details that can play havoc on the impressionable mind. Like being told that as a male, you have a right to do anything, choose anything etc.
