I really wish Sai could say the following to V-

Till date, you are on paper- the father of Sahas and Shrutis husband. Is that really such a small matter.

Till date on official records in a hospital you are Shrutis husband.

Would you be ok if I randomly signed on a piece of paper as someone else's wife.

Do you care about how I felt to see my husband ignoring me and prioritizing another woman over me.

How should I feel knowing you'd rather sacrifice our marriage than tell me the truth.

How should i feel knowing that you thought you were protecting me but I ended up getting kidnapped and threatened to be raped regardless.

Unfortunately all we are getting is Sai saying- yes its all my fault.

So my take on the promo.

I was predicting this as the next track post P and BK conversation. And this can be a very strong plot with a message.

I dont forsee Ashwini turning negative, but for me she already is for how she has behaved with Sai. The problem is with the entire fiasco, whatever voice Ashwini had gained over a period has gone down. For every argument she knows that Sai's this fault will be thrown at her. And she herself is quite upset about it. So while I don’t see her completely against Sai, she may not be able to support her in full fledged manner. Also she will now be mindful of Virat's happiness. So once Sai starts working Ashwini will be concerned more from Virat's aspect, if Sai is able to dedicate time to him and there no discord owing to her busy schedule. It will be more on the grounds of how she balances work and personal life.

Ghum's promo are generally misleading. So she asks about the 7 vachan. And he asks if she needs an 8th one. The 8th one is actually the promise to always stand by her at every step/decision. V has been portrayed as someone who never fails to fulfill his promise. BK interrupting the marriage with her terms is actually the threat to that last additional promise. While Sai wants to rebel, V stops her. What I see here (fingers crossed), him finally taking on the role of the protector, stepping foreword to take on any problem that comes her. He will also be the medium between her and his family. One very important aspect that was highlighted was that Sai is impulsive, while is selfless and is always considerate about people and their feelings, she is also very headstrong and outspoken. In a family specially a join one one has to be mindful of people and learn to deal with different people in an amicable way. It’s not about giving up on your wishes or dreams, but how we convince others of it. This was something that V tried to explain to her during Modak Mirchi track. By being so blunt and outspoken one created more dislikes and animosity. Relationships needs to be dealt with more tactfully. So while V's statement that marriage is more important to Sai than her dream of becoming a doc, he is trying to break down the opposition. Sai may be offended by V's stand but he will make her understand that at that point he had to get his way. But he will convince everyone and make her dream come true. Hence that sad look on Sai's face and the sad BGM. I hope this is the beginning of a journey that is based on trust, understanding, love and respect.

Yaar I honestly started watching the show from Virat's perspective..but then Sai took it over.....in few months.I did connect and understand Virat, but he himself normalizing his behaviour kind of made me lose the touch...and then it was always been her...and now seeing her accept the abuse, even what Ashwini does is i call abuse, calling these criminals family, not even once she or anybody mentioned how easily she has forgiven the gravest of mistakes here in this family. I am not able to see it..She is being conditioned and however how much one tries to make me believe otherwise, she is being conditioned to accept the abuse.. The whole promo and Virat's dialogue whether they want to show it or not is another argument but they are giving dialogues like these and Sai accepting it, is problematic. This dream was her reason to live.. Its not her career, its the hope the wish her father had when he was dying, a hope that Virat is well aware off...So to make him utter such dialogues even for promo sake and Sai accepting is an insult to that man who is called a mentor by Virat and ofcourse who sacrificed so much to bring up Sai..

i am happy atleast one person in the show remains not butchered...which is Aaba..

Both of are getting sad,why 😔. I said that in a joking way. We might get a surprise from sairat😉. So just chill .

I liked how you related it to the 8th vachan Sai demands.

And yes...this time V should be the one fighting for her rather than expecting her to deal with this on her own.

I don't think the sad expression of Sai has a relation to this dialogue. She is probably hurt that he didn't allow her to speak but that may turn around. I felt it was more like she getting emotional over finally getting his love.

Sad BGM makes it odd though.

So I kinda agree with Asmi that the promo ending with that kind of statement from V which sounds as if he says Shaadi is more important than Career is not in good taste. Moreover a sad BG and Sai looking upset rather than happy/emotional as he fills sindur - a momentous occasion in her life- that ruins the promo.

I'm pretty sure it won't necessarily play out like that. Because V has been potrayed as someone who values Sais academic merit and knows that being a doctor is more than just a job- its a dream- hers, her fathers and its a calling. So he will support her. Moreover 8th vachan/vaada is that he will be on her side.

And We already know irrespective of the promo that BK gang will as usual be a pain and create drama, roadblocks in Sairat life all the frickin time (till 5he show ends) but Sairat will counter it. But it really think it wasnt needed in the promo.

This promo should have been Sairat centric, romantic, and only happy and spared any toxic/negative stuff. Zarurat hi nahi thi. After all this time they are finally reconciling. What was the need to put this bk thing in the promo at all?!

It definitely ruined the impact of the promo for me. Instead if they had focused on a dreamy, happy, romantic shaadi and had shown Sairat create vows, recite it, looking into each others eyes- everyone may have been raving about their chemistry. There should have been a happy, upbeat BG score or something like mangalyam playing instead of sad ghkkpm bg. And the colors should have been vibrant.

The mood of this promo is not dramatically different than shaadi no.1 promo- whereas it should have been.

What i wanted to see was only and only smiles, laughter, uncontainable joy, elation, contentment, peace in their countenance.

I dont want them to be arguing with bk gang in the middle of the wedding ceremony. Their focus should only and only be on each other and their vows to each other.

Drama toh pehle ya baad mein hosakta hai. But not in the middle of shaadi.

Absolutely agree. For once they could have given a happy promo. Drama hoga ye to hame bhi pata hai.

Lekin agar ye nahi kiya to unko khaana hajam nahi hota, raat ko neend nahi aati...

The only feel good promo was the last year Holi ... And second best was the one where Sai says jungli mulgi aa gai and V says mujhe bahot pasand hai. That's it i guess
