Obviously Abhi will find the truth and save her. But as some have pointed out it is the optics. It will look like once again she covered for her sister by admitting something she did not. This would be more palpable for all if Arohi was a good sister but she isn't. We could understand if Akshara did this for Vansh or Kairav because they are good brothers. But Arohi has not done a single thing for Akshara that is why we are like "for why?" It is hard to sympathize with someone who continues to make the same mistakes. Though understandably family is still family, she has been emotional abused for a long time by her sister, she feels great guilt in leaving before checking so feels she is just as much at fault for what happened, and she is probably remembering Sirat Ma’s oath to protect her sister. And if Abhi shows up late to the mehendi a part of her may have given up and she surrendered herself.
