There are 1000+ good reasons they could've used for covering up Dhara's absence but they came with the absolute worst and lame

The fire was the stupidest excuse they could have come up for Dhara's absence because what they showed in today's episode with Hardik’s conversation was all that was needed. That simple conversation was used to explain away Dhara's absence but they wasted all of yesterday's episode and broke the flow of the story for what, a fire that wont have any meaning later on. I seriously don't get it. Also when did Gaumbi go and clean off the fire dust off his face because he looked prim and proper at the party later on. Shivi vs. Deshit has begun in the precap with all the customers going to the new store. I think the customers are going to the new store because it is new but once they realize it is Steve running the store and not Shiva or Gaumbi they won't come back. Let's see I am really excited for the upcoming track. I just hope they don't scrap Suman's HA because that would be needed for Gaura to sit at home and take care of maa and for Shivi to run PS and for Shiva's education.
