Out of respect of people dying in this world, they should keep low key when it comes to their work life and party life.. Do you see kapoor sisters partying after the father got dementia, no, learn something from this celeb

If you want privacy in the entertainment world, you can. Look at Aditya Chopra and Rani's wedding not a picture plus no picture about their daughter till now that is true privacy

They announced their engagement and wedding date to the whole world and then asked for privacy.

Or Anushka who took her daughter to a cricket game and expected nobody to click their pics and then give some rubbish Gyan.

In the recent times Katrina and Vicky was extremely private and unexpected till they got married, then they themselves publicly showed pics.

It is up to the celeb on how they want to portray but they should shut about privacy as most of them are papped because they are actually tipped off to the media

Don't care about their lives. What I feel strongly about is that "privacy" should not be wielded at the convenience of the stars. Pictures shared or not, they do have a moral responsibility to treat media and fans with respect, and inform and wave to them. Especially for the Bacchans who'd be nothing without people's love and money. They are not royalty. You cannot have the couple's kids shoving their face in every major media outlet and cry about privacy when it comes to other matters. Selective privacy is very harmful.

Bollywood is fickle af when it comes to privacy. It's better not being discussed. Hollywood celebrities have a better sense of privacy. The likes of Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Jo, Rami Malik etc, absolutely keep their affairs under wraps because they greatly respect their privacy. They are the biggest stars but do not make fuss about it. They announce and celebrate stuff with fans. But you will not hear a peep from them if they are not actively working or promoting a project. They do not wield their children and use other affairs of their life as PR machinery, and then one day decide they are private.

This. It's absurd how brainwashed people are to the idea that the stars PR machinery is always gunning to keep them in limelight when needed, but then sideline when the media/fans deserve their due and least bit of respect.

This has to be the most absurd comparison ever. How are those two topics one and the same?

Selective or complete or no privacy at all... it is within their rights to decide. No one else gets a say, legally or morally. They're not public property.

Who is claiming them to be public property? Only highlighting the fact that crying about privacy and then brandishing their lives when they want is in clear juxtaposition. Much like Anushka bringing her kid to a cricket match and then boiling at the media for having clicked her pics. I'm not claiming for them to give up their privacy, merely pointing out that it is absurd when they resort to selective privacy. Otherwise I don't care about anyone's wedding.

For instance, JLaw, Scar Jo and Elizabeth Olsen have married in recent times and there has been no peep at all except for the news that they are married. No pictures at all. You don't see fans obsessing over in Hollywood asking for pics because there never has been a PResque culture there. I hope you distinguish the difference between the industries and understand how Bollywood and much the stars create a sense of frenzy about their lives for spectacle. This is a lot more complicated issue than portrayed such as.

Actually, no. Where does the demand for revealing private life end? Does the actress *owe* her male audience because she wore revealing clothes on screen or on instagram? There are actually men who think so. The celebs get rape threats all the time because of this same attitude taken a little further.

But you're going beyond mocking them for hypocrisy. You're actually claiming public has a right to expect them to reveal their personal life (to whatever extent).

Mocking Anushka's hypocrisy is different from claiming she has a moral obligation to share the baby's pics.
