I don't understand why ITV dramatize this adoption angle. I know a lot of adopted kids in fam and their parents haven't told them. I don't think it makes any difference in their life and in fact, such kids are more grateful to their parents for raising them when they were having a deprived life.
Adopted kids are also equally loved.
And abhimanyu suddenly knowing after so many years shouldn't make any difference in his life either.
Generally kids may feel a bit insecure when they are young .
And if manjari has hidden it , it must be for some reason like Harsh's past affair and in such a situation she is right, she didn't want Abhi to feel bad that he is Harsh's illegitimate son and wanted to keep family dynamics healthy - i think that should make him more grateful to her.

Yes! In fact, all of the problems in Abhira's life ultimately started by her plotting during tilak 1. She could have stopped the entire confusion from the get-go, but she decided not to in order to keep her power. She wanted Akshu as the Birla bahu because she thought that she could keep her under her thumb like Manjari, but now that she has realized Akshu is not Manjari, she has completely flipped. It's honestly disgusting for her to be this insecure of Akshu and Abhi's love for her that she is willing to drop to such lows in order to break the shaadi. She does not care for anyone but herself. I completely agree with you. It has always bothered me too. ITV makes such a huge deal out of adoption, and it is quite frankly a really low blow type of insult. Adopted kids and biological kids are no different. Kids are kids. But, ITV makes it seem as if adopted kids are less than, and I have a serious problem with that. I think that Abhi finding out after so many years will deeply impact him because the truth was kept from him. That will be the biggest shock more than anything else. It may destroy his trust in Manjari and it will change his perception of his identity. I think finding something like this out can be a life changing experience at any point in life. My cousin did not know that she was adopted until she was 23, and it led to a deep strain in her relationship with her adoptive parents.
