Today was one of HC and Pranali’s best performances until date. They both crushed it and HOW! Both of them portrayed Abhira’s emotions so freaking well. Neither one of them is wrong here. It was an outstanding episode — one of the best of the entire show thus far!
Akshu gets to the spot and Abhi asks her what happened on the day of the card pooja. He questions her about the accident happening that day and Akshu not telling him about it. He says that they were looking for Manjari, she didn’t tell him… she didn’t tell him throughout it all. She didn’t tell him through any of the rituals, etc. etc. He calls her Akshara, and her heart breaks. She tells him to call her Akshu, because him calling her Akshara is an insult to her. She begs him to not speak to her in this tone. He keeps saying she lied.
Abhi asks who drove, and Akshu tells him it was Aarohi — another HUGE step forward for her. Nothing is above her relationship with Abhi — not even Aarohi. She is done protecting her. And before she even tells him that, Abhi says he knows that Akshu couldn’t have been driving. Even though his trust is deeply broken, it isn’t gone.
We get a repeat of the kyun confrontation. He asks her why she hid it, why she left Manjari there to die. He asks her who she is, because this is not the girl he knows.
Akshu says that she told him. She begs him to listen, and he does. She tells him everything that happened. About Aarohi overdosing, about her telling him behind the curtain. About the phone call afterwards. Abhi genuinely looks confused here.
He says that the truth didn’t come to him, and instead he found on sangeet. Akshu is shattered and so confused as to how this has happened.
Akshu says to say whatever he wants, but to not say she hid it, because she did NOT!
In response to his questions, she says that Aarohi’s career was on the line, etc. Abhi blasts her and says he doesn’t give a shit about Aarohi. Aarohi has always been nothing to him. He says that this is all because of Aarohi, and she did this to protect her. He has flashbacks to all of the moments when he thinks she has chosen Aarohi over him.
Abhi says that in front of Aarohi, he is nothing to her. Akshu says that Aarohi is her sister, but he is her everything.
Abhi says he won’t leave Aarohi, because this is all because of her. Akshu asks him to calm down and won’t let go of him, but finally he lets go. He says he wishes she would have trusted him, and not hid any of this… this would have all been different.
He walks away, and she falls to the ground crying. She says that this relationship is everything to her. The same song plays when he is walking away at the mandir after she stayed silent and she runs after him. Her worst nightmare is coming true …. She is so deeply triggered by Abhi walking away, and that is exactly what is happening.
As Abhi is walking away, he is breaking. He cannot see Akshu in pain, but again, he is not in a rational state.
She has a panic attack in the car after Neil texts her about plans being changed about the shaadi. She thinks Abhi has cancelled it, but in reality, it is about destination wedding.
Now…… a huge misunderstanding has happened here.
Abhi doesn’t know that Akshu found out about the accident the same day she told him. That part got entirely lost in communication.
When Akshu says she was protecting Aarohi, she is referring to the accident where she did not know they hit someone. And that was not her fault at all. She tried checking, but her high sister had already started driving away.
She didn’t tell Abhi about it at the start for the same reasons she said today… Manjari was lost, and after that, she didn’t want tensions between Abhi and Aarohi. The SECOND she found out about the actual truth, she rushed to tell him. He doesn’t know that!!!
Today, Akshu clearly told Abhi that he means everything to her. She told him the entire truth and cleared everything, but he was in no state to listen. He had already made up his mind in many ways, but he still listened without HEARING.
I think that Akshu will be done with Aarohi after this. Abhi is number 1 in her life, and today’s scene proved it. Now, it’s just for Abhi to understand and realize.
In terms of the precap, Akshu goes to the hospital and tells Abhi that she will wait for him forever. She is not giving up. She is going to fight for her love.
Abhi has told Manjari everything, and Manjari for sure knows something. I think she might know who did the accident in reality OR she has uncovered that there was a huge misunderstanding. She is going to play a part in fixing this.
I think there is going to be a fire photo parallel where Neil uncovers the letter and shows it to Abhi, thereby proving that Akshu wasn’t lying. Abhi is going to have deep regrets, as his words were really harsh today.

Meanwhile, Mahima is confused in the episode as to why tamasha hasn’t happened. She says she has to break the marriage because Akshu is causing too many problems. This woman is so freaking jealous and insecure. She is vile. I have no other words. Manjari wants a destination wedding, and Mahima plays around, saying she will ask Harsh and Anand and convince them. She is a vile sister and a vile human. I have no other words. No amount of her being insecure justifies this.
She says she will come to the mehendi to break the shaadi, so I think she will bring the cops. But by then, Abhi will have already uncovered everything, and he will come save Akshu.
Harsh bashes Akshu to Anand today, saying its so embarrassing she’s not a doctor, and a singer instead. He wishes Abhi was marrying Aarohi. All of these elders are disgusting. Harsh has no respect for professions nor women.

Meanwhile, Aarohi is saying she is focusing on her career, because all of this is behind her.
She is going to turn completely anti Akshu now… Akshu is not going to forgive Aarohi for this, and might even play a part in punishing her.

Much needed reality check for Akshara. And for her to understand her delay reactions or inactions sometimes gets her in trouble. She also needs to be better at communicating but considering she has lived most of her life being silent or forced silence by Arohi she seems to forget key points to address especially when someone is angry at her. But I am glad she told Abhi everything so that he knows she did say the truth just it never got to him.
So if that letter gets to Abhi he will know someone else knew the truth and was trying to set up Akshara. Because we know that Mahima would have written that Akshara drove.
I sort of wish Akshara had a friend to explain to her sure Arohi is your sister but look at all the trouble she's caused and expects you to clean up in her life. You can't keep doing this. It just seems in this season the love story is told more from the male perspective. We see Abhi talking to Manjari and sort of getring guidance every now and then. Akshara has had no talk from Mimi or Bade Mama. Like this girl is getting married and you have not had a talk to her about how to adjust to married life, etc? 🤓
And I honestly cannot believe Harshvardhan is back to Arohi jaap saying something stupid that he wishes Abhi would have marry Arohi. Did you forget she lied about saving your son's life? Or she left to go take a test on her wedding day and also bribe for the seat? Why are people having selective memory Oh, well I guess foreshadowing Arohi will be the second bahu of the house when she marries Neil. My poor Neil 🥺
I am all for Mahima caling the cops 😆 let Arohi turn on her sister and prove what we all know including Abhi that Arohi is not worth saving.
Now thus sort of got me wondering if it wasn't Arohi driving and let's say Vansh or Kairav would Abhi be angry or be more understadning about the situation? Would he get triggered if Akshara said "he is my brother?" Of course if it was either of those brothers they probably wouldn't have run and go and check on who they hit. But just a thought to ponder 🤓
