Like I said this push to lockout outsiders recently became a thing. Kangana came at least a decade before Yami. When things were very different I already said this multiple times.

now please name one outsider from the current lot. That has not been launched by his bestie KJO.

And not launched by KJo? How about not launched by any known name director, either? 😆 That way, we can REALLY narrow it down to why Yami is the only true outsider, and the world is against her.

She doesn't deserve a damn thing. If the designer doesn't want to give her, it's his choice. Nothing else matters. She isn't owned anything by virtue of passing certain levels.

There is tripti, illeana, mrunal, among others? Kangana and Deepika came around the same time. Yami debuted the same year Alia did. That tells you the difference right there. Before that the gap was going to be filled by someone.

She was launched technically by John Abraham ( an active Bollywood actor) That’s better than “ some indie producer”

I see Vani Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Mrunal Tahkur, Rashmika Mandanna, Shehnaaz Gill, Parineeti Chorpa, Malvika Mohan, Bhumi Pednekar, Pooja Hegde, Richa Chadha, PV SIndhu (badminton player), Nushratt Bharuccha, et, etc.

They're not A-listers, either.

From the looks of it, Manish really doesn't like Yami. 😆
