URI had a box office collection of 342 crore .
Bala had a box office collection of 252 crore. She received great reviews for both of those films. Among many other great films she was a part of. She had a lot more to do than Katrina did in a lot of her hit films. I find it very hard to believe people only know her for her fair and lovely adds.
you didn’t answer my question? The video points out how Manish let’s star kids who haven’t even been launched yet wear his clothing??? Are they more successful than Yami. However great or mom or dad might be. You face has to be shown on tv or a movie first
Most big designers internationally prefare to serve the big and rich families. For them the kids are next customers. Its same in Bollywood. Sara and Jahnavi were same. So are other star kids, who have grown before media. People did followed them on social media before launch. Look at Nysa Devgn, Suhana Khan etc. Yami may be hit but most designers do not care for her.
Its a known fact in advertising world, that promoting fair and lovely has harmed Yami's advertising prospect. Its a brand which promoted discrimination on the basis of skin color. Have you heard about dark is beautiful campaign. No designer wants to alienate the common skin color of the country by giving free clothes to fair and lovely brand ambassador.
PS:- I have never seen a big social media or beauty blogger promoting glow and lovely on their page, because they know it will damage their reputation. Why does not Yami understands this?

Never ?
kaabil 178 crore ?URI 342 crore ?
Bala 252 crore ?
If that is not fame than I am not sure what is ???
1. Kaabil - Dead girl friend with Hrithik in most movie. She was a supporting actor.
2. URI - Story revolves around Vicky Kaushal's life
3. Bala- Ayushmann Khurrana recieved more praise for his role.
Do not ignore the main leads for Yami.

Grumpy, quoting you since whatshisname was deactivated. Also a response to what you said.
LGBTQ are a marginalized community. Yami doesn't come from a marginalized community either personally or professionally.
She is talented and successful. But like it or not, she is a B-lister. The brand recognition is simply not there in her case. That is not about being marginalized.
If it were the case, Deepika wouldn't have gotten mega designers. Priyanka Chopra has worn Manish's outfits.
For Biraloo,
Lol. You're trying to make it upper caste vs lower caste?
As far as I know, Gautam is pretty upper caste while Malhotra is not. (ETA: Yami is a brahmin while Manish is a khatri according to that oracle called Google
)
Once again, Manish gets to decide who adds to brand value. Not you, not me, not Yami, either. if he feels selling to her would bring his value down, it is entirely up to him. In this instance, *he* gets to decide who is a B-lister.
A businessman is entitled to decide who to sell or not sell to. No one is obligated to sell or lend Yami anything.
Also, she wasn't talking about her wedding dress which, I presume, she would have bought. She was talking about what she *once heard* was said about her. ie, another function. Celebs wear borrowed wear for such events. A designer would be even less obligated to *lend* her anything
I can assure you one thing, most designers do not mind selling their clothes to anyone in India, as long you can pay for it. This is same in five stars or big brands. Only the sales assistants create problem, when they do not understand the difference between the wealthy and broke fashionable customers. It takes years to understand this difference.

Kaabil she played a rape victim
URI she was an undercover agent
Bala anyone who watches would agree she had equal screen space
Again arent Shraddha and Kat the same way ?

She is still Manish's muse.

Again no one answers this question what about Manish dressing star-kids, who haven’t been launched yet and have 1 million or so followers on Instagram?
Most people are nosy, so they are interested in star kids. Star kids have followers from their parents fans. I am sorry to say this but youngsters will follow anyone who looks rich and stylish. They will try to copy the outfits and photos.
Designers want to serve a rich family to have constant publicity and customers. Star kids come from rich family.

Yesterday if you want free gifts you have to be popular. Unlaunched star kids are popular ?
