I don't exactly remember...I think he adjusted her pillow and then held her hand to help her lie down...this was when the family came to confront Shruthi I think. It wasn't same at all...like in Sai's second accident. But it was unecessary..they could have shown him calling for the nurse.

Sai was already going through why they had to show something like that to her. It's so offputting they haven't put Virat in same spot as Sai since AJ track but I can't with those who compare Sai hugging her male friend, a casual friendly hug to him on her birthday & smear cake on her face infront of Virat is same as Virat's holding hand to console Shruti, doing these things lol. The only good thing Virat had done in the entire track was when he told Shruti off that it's always Sai for me & called her a third party to not comment on their beef. Where's that Virat gone? Wish he does the same to Pakhi someday.

Oh that walking together while carrying baby in arm scene was there in KD too. So they copied everything the annoying parts included their creativity with cringe scenes too.

And yes in that context, a Marathi manus like V will not work like that. Men, generally of a particular age group do not talk freely to women even if they are related and maintain a significant distance. It's a cultural sort of thing.

For example, my FIL would in initial days would not speak directly to me.. would ask through my husband. Neither would my father be talking to his DIL. In such case, physical touch would be a complete odd happening.

But as a Maharashtrian, I chose to ignore this because many aspects of ghum are not of Marathi culture. It's just a trope they use. There is nothing that screams Marathi for me in Chavans.

Only good thing is ghum hasn't typecasted Chavans as poor, service class, naukarani kind of family the way Bollywood does. 🤣

The unecessary closeness between them- physical and emotional, him doing lip service about not wanting her near him but then allowing her to do things and venting about Sai to her, eventually culminating in him not feeling any sense of anger/betrayal when she starts declaring she loves him even after she knows how he put his marriage at stake and supposedly loves his wife, him allowing her to hug him, kiss his hand - all of this is not cool. I don't see any difference in his reactions when Sai was hospitalized vs Shruti. In both situations he was in tears, and he had the same generic expressions of shock and worry. I dont see him bring out the differences in his behavior. We would like to believe that he was more shaken when Sai was admitted but NB certainly didn't convey that in his acting as V. He is really NOT adept at potraying angst, pain, longing. Just using glycerin or looking haggard doesn't convey emotions. Makers didn't help matters by giving us very little monologues or reflections from V. At no point during the entire Shruti kaand could i feel any sympathy for V- so that makes him an epic fail. He is better in the nok jhok type scenes and the light hearted stuff.

but even in the more lighthearted Sairat scenes now, Ayesha is leaps and bounds better in terms of acting than NB. Its time he matches up to her and elevates the scenes.

He can learn from Sachin Shroff. He has great presence and energy in the scenes. Ayesha-Sachin interactions in scenes are so good, infact Ayesha seems to have figured out that unique chemistry with every member of the cast. She brings a different flavor to each interaction. If a person randomly out of context watched her scenes on mute with mohit/Sam/Rajeev/pulkit/sunny/ajinkya - any character - they would know that none of them were her husband/lover because she brings out that difference just in body language. But cant say the same for NB and his interaction with pp, Shruti. And that kind of ambivalence where he cannot clearly show the difference in his feelings/intensity for his wife vs other women means that he is failing at his job. The one thing I agree is that NB is capable of doing romance quite well when he wants to. Hes had moments where he gives those special admiring, niharoing looks to Sai. But he fails on bringing that distinction between his wife and other women when the scenes are angsty.

Exactly they show those scenes to piss people off only.

Ronno's reaction was louder in fever. He told her to get out of his room. They make Virat subdued when it comes to giving back to for Sai I wonder why. Like he never shouted at Pakhi the way he did at her in their safehouse for Sruthi. So idk if it's like ML doesn't like to reprimand his offscreen partner like that on-screen for Sai as Ayesha plays it but he does well for others lol.

Maybe they keep his interactions with 3rd angles like that to keep the angle alive even then Neil's body language can be better.

Shruti said she tired to tell truth to sai but she refused to hear then he said y are u doing like this I told you to not to do I will tell everything if she ready to hear him if sahi waqt arrives. Then he starts to bitching about sai that I have explained many times that I didn't done anything wrong but she didn't trust me and still suspected me. She had created a wrong image of me like that I am always wrong and doing wrong things ,she didn't ready to hear him from beginning . She accused against me but didn't had a thought that she could have been wrong also. Neither had trust on me nor have confidence in our relationship . I tried talk to her but she ignored me even outside I tired to enquire about her well being and how is she doing but she treated me and behaved like a some stranger or unknown person so I decided, enough I won't go behind her or beg her to listen me. I don't need to give any explanation . If truth need explanation it will be disgrace . This is all he said. Shruti just got sympthised with his narrative

Oh they have the audacity to compare sai Anjinkya-sai incidents with virat shruti. Some so called sairat Stans bashed sai how can she hug Aj and allow him in her room when she is a married woman and her sasural is orthodox. But these when it comes to virat they justifyed all his actions but only bashed shruti. Some even justifyed that shruti was the one kissed and hugged virat but how it is virat fault .

Shruti & Virat didn't ever give good vibes shuru se even when they were in hospital. And safehouse pe toh Ajinkya & Sai despite everything never gave off wrong vibes ever lmao. Whereas Virat Sruthi looked anything but friends!

Toh yehi sab jab Shruti kar rahi thi tab janab use character assassinate kyon kar raha tha even went onto say she's trying to seduce him all these before even she made clear what she feels for him...
