And coming to Shamsher...no man, that was totally Shamsher. i couldn't see Jaan e Alam or Sultan in him. Compare it to Deewangi's first teaser and compare the body language. Shamsher has the tenderness which Sultan didn't have initally.

But I doubt that will be fair coz Deewangi ka teaser 1 was focussed on Sultan and his voice over. Nageen had to just walk and smile.

Ktk's teasers did remind me of both deewangi and ishq hai.. ek toh danny as the toxic hero and the teasers themselves. Teaser one kind of like deewangi. Woh build up aur execution of the plot and characters. Teaser two like ishq hai. Cuz of the storyline where parent is opposing.

So now going back to where i left this discussion.. ktk's teaser in comparison to ishq hai or deewangi to me kinda made me less hooked cuz its reminding so many thing about deewangi and ishq hai. Like a mash up of both.

I think even audience's reaction right now will be this. 1) danish is back as the toxic here 2)ktk seems like. Mash up of deewangi and ishq hai

Now its left to the execution, the vibe, the performances and that x factor to help the show rise above these two very strong opinions. Otherwise it will get categorised as another deewangi or ishq hai. Cuz there is gonna be only a very thin fine of difference.

Knowing that the writer is radain shah.. this is what is keeping me most hopeful right now. That kuch nahi toh, even if it is a very cliche intense love story.. the unfolding of the drama bas bahut maze ka ho..

Actually, right now, on the day of the teaser launch my question to danish is what made him sign this as an actor? Because he is definitely getting type casted here.. i hope by the end of the show, i will be able to answer this myself and say now i know why danish signed it! And the answer has to be something to do with either the story being mazedaar or him having the margin to perform.. danish ne yeh toxic hero phir se karliya.. par im afraid he just cannot do that again with his next project. It will be a very wrong move. People will be done by then, even if this clicks.

But yes, i think shamsher will be very dark and a typical toxic hero, cuz ladki khushi se isko shaadi nai karegi.. but once some haadsa happens on the walima night, i think thats were he becomes the hero and this time there will be no turning back ..

Some time i feel, since the team is playing with mahek mar gayi track now, in the end it will actually be shamsher only who dies. Not even both. 😆

After seeing the teasers, i think like salaam lollywood said, this show will get a mon/tues/wed slot only.

I think it doesn't fit a sat slot na cuz of the whole ishq junoon massy type of genre..

And in comparison to its competition, pyaar deewangi hai.. what do you guys think? From the pov of ost and the plot/execution which one is better?

I think pyaar deewangi hai seems more typical television audience type from the story. You know people who watch angna and dailies will watch this show 😆 pata nai kyu, is mein lagta hai zyada uncle aunty characters honge lol. Shayad iske trps ktk ke se bhi zyaada ayengi.

KTK seems like it goes well with youtube and the masses. So lets see fingers crossed. But having said that mere humsafar still seems way head of it. It wont match that in views. So trending toh dur ki baat hai.. i think it will do better than ishq hai, thats my realistic expectation of it now.

Coming to osts.. i think pyaar Deewangi's ost is better, has better catch to it, than ktk. Till yesterday i was like pyaar Deewangi's's ost aint good, but aaj, opinion ko alter karna padgaya while comparing 😆

Well idk how do you feel dure is compelte mehak in this? And danish not shamsher but for me first teaser meant just pure love from both sides, it could be any girl or guy. Its the next teaser which tell the guy side more mehak ka to abhi naamo nishan nai hai.

See first teaser is just love it does show that girl is scared or girl is running away but why is she doing that wo nai pata, for me its just another girl or another boy deeply in love. Umm well i think they have a lot of time for promotion, ishq hai was full masala this might have realistic things to show or that is how i am expecting baaki idk.

But first teaser is a teaser of love story between two, yes none of the two look like dure or danish themselve but some other and not their previous character ofcourse any of the two i am saying.

Yeah alot is there to figure out, ost pe main kuch nai bolna chahti. Let them bring the song altogether, yes its definitely less than ishq hai for sure.

Not catchy but jab first teaser ki lines hai na jab wo aata hai mohababt ko bhare bazaar mein types that gives me pain as to what is he going to do now.

Bhaag ke shadi kidnpa karke shadi nai honi chaiye because that will be repetitive from ishq hai, lets wait and watch but i ll be hooked to the show that i can say. Ost pe i agree with you guys completely.
