Its definitely better than nothing. Its better than the acting/ditection we got in Shruti kaand. But 500 episodes in, and especially with V claiming to Sunny his deewanapan vaala pyaar for Sai- i dont see that degree of passion or love displayed by him. Right now the plot is a tad better than it used to be. And the pace is good too. They are showing how V does care about her exams, is still ok fulfiling all her demands but again the more impactful performance of that scene also is not V but Sai. Ayesha perfecly captures the mischievousness and also that wife waala haq she exercises on him.

I'm waiting to see the confession & how it goes since then if social distance kiss in air proximity issues don't get solved, intimacy isn't shown I'll sign out forever from the show. Won't even be watching for timepass sake either.

Neil went too OTT in many scenes in Shruti's track in hospital I agree. Infact more than affected I found his reaction unintentionally funny like when Sahaas was born or he signed on documents to choose between life of Shruti & Sahaas.

I don't feel his reaction was same as Shruti as Sai's accident tracks tho. Like first time he was shown numb like soulless like a dead body fell on the floor second time he couldn't keep standing on his feet when he got the news.

Idk about Virat's expressions for Pakhi/Shruti is it his acting or script & director's call although he doesn't look at them the same he looks at Sai or gives her heart eyes but I find his expressions confusing tho they don't imply anywhere he feels anything for them, maybe to keep the third angles suspense alive by creating confusing by making ML act soft with 3rd angles.

He crumbled to the floor in front of bappa for Shruti too. It was a mix of him feeling upset about everyone misunderstanding but also just his concern for Shruti. The way he reacted when he was waiting outside the OR for Shruti - he looks SO damn affected. The way he was sitting there praying so ferverently - it looked a tad too emotional over a woman who is essentially a stranger to him.

He didn't crumble down for Shruti in that scene. It was clearly shown for Sai & Sai was watching from back so she thinks he's crying for Shruti and loves her so much. That breakdown was solely for Sai. I think you got the scene wrong or the context. He reacted that way cus of everything happening with him but mainly due to Sai's indifferent behaviour treating like him a stranger. Dialogues were also there although Neil gave meme worthy performance there.

However the only emotion Neil somehow manages to pull off consistently with conviction is that Virat giving hearteyes for Sai & looking at her romantically. I'd give him credit for that.

But it's overshadowed by his other inconsistencies .

He didnt breakdown only over Sai imo. It was him being upset that he was being misunderstood but also that Shruti was ill. He was worried about Shruti until Sai came and treated him like a patient's relative. So Sai's behavior pushed him over bit the mood before that was all worry/stress about Shrutis health He was praying on felicitation day and also when Sai convinces pullu to operate. And the way hes praying, he looks as if its someone very special to him thats ill. If a person who had no context watched his scenes with Shruti or his reactions when she was in OR , 100% they'd think shes his wife or lover.

No re he neither cried for shruti nor for Sai.. He cried for himself how he is being misunderstood by Sai..

He was emotionally drained.. It was not a concern for shruti at all but if anything happens to shruti what will happen to the baby...How he is gonna manage everything?? He needed his wife but Sai denied to be there as his wife.. She consoled him but as a doctor.. That hurt him..

According to me he gave worst performance on the first accident, during divorce drama, when Sai was removing the ring.. He literally looked unaffected by all these..

Having said other heroes performs better in emotional scenes.. Even they are better than his one best performance.. He is just bellow average when it comes to emotional scene...

Years back I used to watch a show where hero looses his wife.. That scenes brought tears in my eyes..

I didn't feel that way about the scene. He ended up crying upon hearing Sai's name right from the moment from that doctor's mouth plus when Sai was walking ahead ignoring him, he stopped her by holding her hands but when Sai removed his hand he was crying again but was happy & smiling when Sai took him alongwith her, he was following her whenever she was taking, was crying again when Sai was treating him as a stranger, I got that scene but it was to show Sai is misunderstanding seeing him cry like that he was breaking down infront of her for Shruti, whereas Virat wanted to convey something else. Even the dialogues he spoke none of it had anything related to Shruti. They didn't imply that scene for Virat's breakdown for Shruti. His dialogues were aimed at Sai. There was a similar scene in KD too not Ronno's breakdown as such but Imon misunderstood his behaviour & had same type of dialogues like Sai wish I knew and you had told me about your love for Shruti earlier etc. He couldn't take her indifference towards him anymore. It was like his need to have Sai with him besides there stand by him. If i remember correctly in that episode when broker talks about his wife or something he immediately had flashback of Sai leaving CN.

I haven't seen the operation track episodes (was he praying infront of God? Haven't seen so that might be OTT I agree) or when she pushes injection to Shruti that episode either so can't say about that. But the felicitation one I remember he prayed for Sai as he couldn't be present there aisa kuch followed by praying for Shruti to give her himmat/hasusla/Shakti/sahara (idk remember the exact word he used so wrote these but any of these) to fight battle out for her delivery. I didn't feel that way about that scene either. It seemed normal to me back then too. Haven't seen it a long time so I can't recall his facial expressions in that scene. But I don't remember anything too bad about it. Others can throw lights on both scenes.

I haven't seen all the episodes or scenes from Shruti track but the one scene that really made me infuriate was in the scene in her ward when he was consoling her before her delivery & labour pain began in hospital. That one seemed totally unnecessary. Also the physical contact, touch & hand holding in that scene felt intimate - inappropriate which I didn't like at all irrespective of his intentions. I didn't feel good about it. Also, another thing was him looking at or pointing at her baby bump everytime there was referrence or mention or talks of Sahaas. It used to make me feel awkward & creepy.

Waise you know I was watching binge watching few old episodes from Shruti track i don't feel the same way about them what I felt in first time viewing. Idk if this happens with only me others too that after a track gets you don't get affected with them when you re-watch the same not so good enjoyable episodes. When it goes on-air you tend to overthink a lot & do psychoanalysis and create non-existent theories, false imagination in our minds which doesn't exist like we take things out of context.

Yeah...this happens with me too. While the track is going on, poor patches of writing or our own emotion/adrenaline whatever you want to call can affect the way you understand a scene/plot. When I re-watch old episodes, my understanding is better sometimes because I am able to look at it more objectively I guess.
