But then BK sees how much V wants this wedding to happen. So she agrees because V wants it. And asks Sonali Omkar Pakhi to join too. She feels doing this might make V forgive the family. He too asks them to trust him the way they were asking him to trust them.

Sai knew all this, that only V can convince the family. Hence I said she played hukum ka ekka. Instead of going ahead herself, she managed to convince V, got him on her side and he is now the one doing everything she wants 👍🏼. Smart change in tactics 😉

I dont think the others care any which way. Shaadi karein, naa karein, unka kuch nahi jaata. Bk also cares about her imaginary motions of "khandaan ki izzat" but she bends because she doesn't vwant ips officer/ghar ka Chirag to be estranged from her. Saare materialistic, opportunistic log hai who flip like pendulums and cant ever own up to their mistakes.

Neil went too OTT in many scenes in Shruti's track in hospital I agree. Infact more than affected I found his reaction unintentionally funny like when Sahaas was born or he signed on documents to choose between life of Shruti & Sahaas.

I don't feel his reaction was same as Shruti as Sai's accident tracks tho. Like first time he was shown numb like soulless like a dead body fell on the floor second time he couldn't keep standing on his feet when he got the news.

Idk about Virat's expressions for Pakhi/Shruti is it his acting or script & director's call although he doesn't look at them the same he looks at Sai or gives her heart eyes but I find his expressions confusing tho they don't imply anywhere he feels anything for them, maybe to keep the third angles suspense alive by creating confusing by making ML act soft with 3rd angles.

The issue is not the actions of V towards Shruti but that lack of difference between his behavior towards her or Sai. If Sai was in Shrutis place- he would have had the same tone/same concern- not more. Thats the grouse for me. Shes his wife. Shouldn't he react a little bit more and differently towards the different women in his life- wife vs pp/shruti.

For example see him in the scene when he saved Sai from the pillar in the fire scene , watch the difference in Sai and Vs reaction. Sai not only had relief and gratitude but also a lot of concern towards him in that split second expression. Whereas V didn't react as if it was his WIFE who was almost injured. He'd have been the same if it was bua, tai, stranger, anyone! His reaction was a lot more thanda than Sai's..this was the situation where he should have let go of his gussa facade and given her a tight hug. But he didn't. If you see that scene, it was really Sai hugging him n V just letting her do so. I still liked the scene because it was something. But it was a missed opportunity to show the difference of Vs feelings, his intensity towards Sai vs others.

I found his "dhyaan rakho sai" way too snappy.

I found his "tum theek ho?" to be very normal. It wasnt anything more than a reaction he'd give anybody in her place.

Another example- watch his behavior in the hospital when Shruti is sick. He looks SO affected by it. As if shes really his wife. He couldn't manage to show stress without getting emotional about it. When we see a stranger in such a life/death situation theres a difference between being afraid for them vs reacting as if they are our family member!

He honestly didn't look more affected when Sai was admitted over Shruti. We got scenes of him feeding her davai/coconut paani but presumably he did the same for Shruti too. They didn't show it but I have no doubt that he did. He was literally living with her despite saying he was gonna arrange a nurse.

Another example from long time back- his concern for PPs haath jalan after Mirchi peesing was the same as his concern for Sai. There was no "unconscious" difference in his concern/behavior for wife vs vahini. Sai even pointed it out. About how he petsonally applied ice whereas in her case he allowed her to walk away and later bought ice pack.

I felt Neil was relatively better... he is slowly coming back..

Having said that he needs to work on heavy emotional scenes other wise his diwanapan remains a lip service.. And makers can't keep dwelling on vague characterisation on Virat.. There are lot of things has to come crystal clear otherwise it disconnects with the characters

That scene was shown & written randomly for split seconds, it should've been quite a long bit. But I agree about the inconsistency from acting part from Neil when he has to show concern, worry for Sai nowadays, sometimes he does well. Like i remember his conveyed a lot of concern & tension, worry for Sai when Samrat, Mohit, Pakhi visited their safehouse & he also had fever. It's hit and miss.

But then again idk if you remember there was that hospital scene on Shruti's delivery day, when she talks about dying & stuff Virat had no reaction, he was nonchalant about it. So idk why they showed him showing overly concern for Shruti at times.

Its definitely better than nothing. Its better than the acting/ditection we got in Shruti kaand. But 500 episodes in, and especially with V claiming to Sunny his deewanapan vaala pyaar for Sai- i dont see that degree of passion or love displayed by him. Right now the plot is a tad better than it used to be. And the pace is good too. They are showing how V does care about her exams, is still ok fulfiling all her demands but again the more impactful performance of that scene also is not V but Sai. Ayesha perfecly captures the mischievousness and also that wife waala haq she exercises on him.

Its 1 hit and like 50 misses from him.
