Katrina and deepikas wedding outfits were different, you can see from the two pictures here. Deepikas was also a darker shade of red. Katrina wore a short lengha top whereas deepikas top was longer, they are very different

The designs on their dupattas are also very different

Deepika's was a darker red. There is practically no difference between Alia and Kangana's saree apart from the blouse design. And Alia wore it as a bridal outfit?

Kangana wore it at some awards events. Alia wore it as bridal attire. So hard to notice if it is not pointed out.

The detailed work between Katrina and Deepika’s lehngas were different. But they were still pretty similar. To my eyes anyway. And your explanation fits. Both were traditional red wedding attires so maybe that’s why I saw them as similar.

Kangana actually wore that sari to her brother’s wedding. When I first saw the side by side pictures I even wondered if kangana’s was photoshopped. But a quick run through her Instagram and there it was.

Chalo koi baat nahi. This is one of the rare moments I sympathize with her too. She probably when am I going to where Sabyasachi to my own wedding like everyone else ? Someone would have to be nuts to marry me ?

I am sure she will use this to fire up rumours of her non existent affair with Ranbir

I don’t think she’ll go that far. But I can definitely see her using this as an example to present herself as the absolute fashion icon of Bollywood and one that’s emulated by big star brides.

In typical BJP fashion, Hindu brides are supposed to wear red or pink. Why is she wearing white and trying to imitate western brides? This is an attack on hindutva. I wore white as the innocent sister of the groom. It suited my role in the wedding.

The fact that no one remembered kangana wore this kind of dress shows how much outreach kangana really has. So much so that even the designer doesnt remember it. When it comes to A-list stars ,designers usually keep tabs on their fashion.One of deepika's reception gold saree with white blouse was also done by kangana b4. But no one remembered. Eventually public and media will remember them as deepika's look. Now for any normal human this will put some cold water on them. But kangana thrives on this kind of attention.

Anyways this is all she can find solace in. Casanova married the kid. Her predictions were wrong. All her efforts of landing some rich BW hearthrob have gone in vain. No decent guy from decent family in his right mind who is serious about his BW career will ever take up kangana.

I wonder why Bolly folk don't consider Anita Dongre for their wedding outfits. Some of her stuff is gorgeous. There's a lot of sameness and repetition in Sabyasachi's designs.
