Why Neetu is ok with Alia but not Kat and DP?

No I’m not trying to troll or anything. But i find it quite funny she loved Alia, but hated both DP and Katrina. Is it because both DP/Kat were bigger stars? Or because Alia comes from an influential family and didn’t really had to go through some “weird” situations like other outsiders does? I think if Alia wasn’t a bhatt, Neetu wouldn’t have agreed on her to be Ranbir’s wife😆

Maybe she realized her son needs to marry someone. So she has to like someone too. I have seen that happen before!🤷‍♀️

Neetu probably feels comfortable only with a Bollywood family. Both Kat and Dp are outsiders. There is a strange brotherhood in that shady industry

Probably because she realized early on that Alia will tolerate her son’s infidelities as long as it doesn’t cross the line to emotional infidelity whereas Katrina and Deepika wouldn’t. Mahesh Bhatt is quite controversial so I doubt his daughter was Neetu’s perfect choice to be the bahu of her hoity toity khanadaan. But Ranbir is not in his 20s or even early to mid 30s. In about 5 months or so he’ll be 40 so neither he nor Neetu can afford to be that picky.

Aliaa seems to “fit” their cultural and social group better compared to Katrina (who isn’t Indian by ethnicity and is an outsider) and deepika (who is a South Indian and an outsider) …compared to that both alia and ranbir are north indian, raised in the same city and from the same industry …typical arranged marriage parameters …

Neetu does seem a tad elitist who thinks too highly of her son…one of those raja beta moms …
