I agree with the sentiment of watching old favourites. I’m rewatching NBT…Mohan and Chavanni were soooo cute. That show was fab until Mohan married butter knife waali.😆

Word on the beautiful location....is song ki picturization se film ka budget automatically elevated 😆.....lagta hai saara budget yeh waale locations ko shoot karne mein hi lagaya😆

The IPL months usually drop this show to new lows😆.....they did it last year with glorifying Psycho Didi ke suicide acts and cheap manipulations and is saal bhi aisa hi kuch bakwaas karenge while IPL is on.....lol Udhaarwala toh is permanent victim in their eyes now toh I guess baaki IPL ke 2 months chale jaayenge in Mrs. CEO ka detective mode....lol

Ehhh Chavaniii Sun Naaa😆......CLASSIC those two will always be❤️.....NBT ke first 120 epis are an easy breezy rewatch backup anytime.....so many lovely moments to revisit.

LOL I came across Hanuman Uncle ke old gems while going through my gifs😆......this is another good show to revist cuz of some lovely scenes - baad ki butchering zone out karte huye obviously 😆

See yeh wala ekdum apply karne ki zaroorat hai life mein when you come across ghatiya gaslighting logon ki bakwaas - ek kaan se in, dusre kaan se out 😆

These three were also adorable before Ashnoor got ajeeb😆

And log baat aise karte hain jaise choice ki baatein karne wala koi ML tha hi nahin pehle ITV pe😆

Absolutely! This is my go to show when I need something cute n breezy to watch. :)

I think the best thing about old shows is that they explored other relationships besides the obvious ML-FL one. This definitely adds to their repeat value.

I loved that he was a policeman and yet so sensitive and caring. Usually policemen are depicted as rough n tough macho characters. Hanuman uncle was a refreshing change.

So he’s definitely in his own unique category. Such an endearing character…I’ll always remember him fondly.❤️

Yes, older shows did do a better job of developing supporting characters cuz they had slightly more breathing room TRP-wise.....these days the knee-jerk reactions/empty morchebaazi seems to hold most things hostage and makers seem to pander to them for whatever reason without any foresight or conviction in their own story.....lol

Anyways this is not to say NBT also didn't ultimately suffer and fall prey to the same TRP chasing lame gimmicks....but yes, the original 130 or so epis provided enough content to become a cult classic - and the fact that it wasn't over the leads ki story but the ensemble as a WHOLE.....that's deffo a rare feat on ITV.

Like IPK fangirls tout their show ka ensemble cast but wahaan bhi mostly sab log were revolved around leads ki OTT love story or bubbly FL ke clownish antics.......unlike an NBT where there was a wholesome development of each seperate equation beyond them just being props for the leads.....ofcourse Mohan-Nanhi stand out notably but Mohan-Guru was another fab relationship beyond the cliches of typical brothers or siblings as best friends.

Speaking of siblings - yeh bhi ab sad fashion chal padaa hai tainting all sibling relationships so badly for cheap TRP gimmicks....ab yeh default expectation hai in every story ki ya toh behen plot kar rahi hogi against behen ya bhai.....lol kisi cheez mein koi sanctity nahin chhodni.

PB was fabbbb content to discuss in its heydays....those 100 epis of evolution for every equation from HS-Mini to HS-Babita....it was really well done. And I'm a big fan of the bg scores/theme scores used in this show.....goosebumps some of them gave literally.
