It happens yaar. There's no mercy for anybody in this shitty tv industry.
Recently one of our veteran superstar Abhishek Banerjee left the planet, if you dont know he was playing Mohor and Gungun's father in Mohor and Khorkuto respectively. The day before his death he was pressurized to come on set for extra work despite his denial. Later when his health condition worsened no action was taken from production so the channel sent a doctor who couldn't identify whats the matter and while taking him to hospital he passed away. His doctor warned him before not to work for extra hours despite that the ph didnt cared for his health and forced him to work. This is what happens when you work in a daily soap without any certainity that when it will end. If today tv content was churned out in a particular way maybe he could have got rest for himself as the show would have gone before coming to its current stage. Daily soap format simply compromises with an actor's health, 12 hours of work is not only hectic it is labour in my POV.
This is an indirect murderš². Whoever forced him to work for extra hours despite knowing his doctors advice should be punishedš¤¬.
They need to bring back weekly and biweekly format for the shows especially when even small kids and elderly people also work for 20-25 days for long hours. Yes people who are used to watching shows almost everyday will make a fuss but they will slowly get used to it.

Daily soap habit cannot be broken suddenly but the habit of watching shows of 500-1000 episodes can be broken easily if the channels support. Producers are always ready to keep their shows finite but channel pressurizes them to continue for monetary gain. This is 2022 and still things havent changed.
