No no in such scenes..I liked her in romantic and sultry scenes..She could not bring in the rawness needed in performance of a young woman, just out from school , having to marry an older guy, losing her father and only family. Fierceness I could not see, but rather I could see her being arrogant. Ayesha subdued it and is tolerable as chirpSai also. EMon takes away the cake in seductive and romantic scenes.
Accha maybe you felt that way as I'm a Bengali myself so I understand the language & Imon blew me away. Sai is a tonned down version of Imon. I used to like that tonning down at times but sometimes not as it wasn't needed at many places. Like they literally subdued her in the ousting track drama outside CN. Also, none could overpower Imon in the show in most of her fights which involves Ronno or Ronno with RK or Shruti or someone else. Although in KD people were nowhere near the toxic which Ghum people are yet Imon showed them their place, came out at top winning having upperhand everytime, she'd treat them exactly the way they'd treat her which Sai certainly doesn't always do that. She bows down very often. She's a typical Hindi TV FL Imon was too raw & blunt, upfront for ITV. Here Sai keeps crying, even in early days she'd leave room with tears, also kind of gets defeated despite bajaoing bffs whereas Imon left RK with tears in eyes, her barbs, jibes, insults, rebuttals were too sharp like a knife. Her dialogues were extremely powerful, none would have anything to retaliate to her. None tried messing with her there, I can't say same for Sai as Pakhi, BK, Omi dominate her many a times earlier Ninad & nowadays Virat. I had a satisfactory viewing experience while watching KD as that made me happy cus RK, Shruti, Ronno none were spared always were ripped apart, faced repercussions unlike Ghum. The amount of leeway happens in Ghum is pathetic. Also, Imon wasn't written like a child like Sai is shown as kiddish, Imon was brat, impulsive & immature those were her flaws.
