Acha guys I went thru Hum Tum and Paristaan. Couldn't sit through either for more than 5 minutes. I guess the benchmark is set so high after Chupkay Chupkay for Hum that everything seems underwhelming.

But looking at the first few minutes of C&S...I think we have a winner. The bright colours, slight OTTness in the comedy and the Punjabiyat makes it a paisa vasool show.

I know its the just the first episode and its too early to say, but since this is comedy you pretty much get it in the first episode itself whether it will be watchable for you or not.

Suno chanda and chupke chupke, i have genuinely enjoyed watching both. I didn't get even little bit of that feeling from this time's hum dramas. Those two had good osts also playing in the episodes. This time it aint like that.

So Paristaan for me.. i didn't enjoy a single scene. Neither the very lil romantic element (like the opening scene of aymen and arsalan or the fall trip catch at the bill centre) or the comedy. Like you said, i was struggling to watch it. I skipped and fast forwarded most of it very quickly. Nothing about it made me feel like i wanna watch the second episode or the series to be honest. And i felt something was not working. Cant pin point what. The unfunny jokes or the unfunny scenes or the way it was edited or how it is directed. Something technical. Maybe you guys can tell better. Mira sethi and ali safina too are trying to make their characters funny. But it clearly didn't work. That mooro guy was weird. Cba arsalan and aymen on their own also i didn't like. I know they have a lot of fan following and hype, but i think i enjoyed them there in chupke chupke and just as the second leads.. not here in the first episode. Pari's mami, she was so ott, came out so annoying. Only Meerub is easy on the eyes.

Hum tum. I want to straight away start off by saying Ahad's lack of acting skills are exposed. Or atleast he has got no comedy acting in him. His acting is so juvenile here. Nothing was funny here. I just had a straight face the entire time. 😆 this too i fast forwarded and watched. They tried really hard with everything here. Even the veteran old man who plays the dadu, i didn't enjoy his tik tok part also. I think ramsha tried her best. But still i didn't enjoy her bit. Sarah toh, is same everywhere. Her acting. Her look. I feel like im watching sarah offscreen. She adds nothing to the show here i feel. Most of the scenes in the show fell flat for me and thats bad. Like example, the sisters and their banters, ramsha riding the bike and her sister acting scared for life and ramsha narrating about her accidents, ahad and ramsha ka takkar and the cake falls, sarah copying her father, every ahad scene in general 😆, the sisters wishing dadu with roses, this dadi is also so unfunny. I think can go on and that would mean every single scene would be on this list 😆 I think the execution was bad. Last time the same writer and director created magic with chupke chupke. No wonder bilal opted out of it and i saw ahad saying that he did this show only for the fans 😆. Wont watch this either.

Chaudhary and sons, pretty much what you would expect from a geo ramzan play keeping in mind what their typical geo audience enjoys.. It has that massy type of comedy. Somehow this show is much much more well put together than the other two. I wouldn't say i enjoyed it like chupke chupke or suno chanda. Definitely not. But i certainly watched the entire show. It was fine. I found it interesting. Imran in this show, suits the character, rather than a badzaat. That yo yo bit from him is like whatever for we guys but i think geo audience will like it. And thank god, even if danish was approached, it didn't materialise for him, cuz i dont see danish in this type of comedy. I see him more of faazi from chupke chupke 😆 Ayeza's look is great man, she looks so good. Doing three bubbly characters in a row is a big challenge cuz ecah time you have go come out different. Looks wise and acting wise you see her as pari only. I couldn't see any traces if meenu nor geeti. I feel she fits this world well. And if you notice i think she is a left hander here. All the characters are in their ott element in a good way. Its not like they are effortlessly funny, but funny with some effort and atleast its not falling flat. In fact even hammad shoaib was fine with his stuff. Im saying this cuz even his scenes were smooth here. Compare it to hum tum or Paristaan, the comic execution is definitely better. Like you will not laugh out loud watching it but certainly it will be watchable and interesting. I didn't find anyone annoying here atleast. For now im looking forward to the next episode for sure, but full series, that im not sure. The ost of this show is really better than the other two.

If you compare "only the three" na.. hum tum and paristaan is like a 5/10 for me, but Chaudhary and sons is like an 8/10.

Want Chaudhary and sons to work for Ayeza and especially her effort. I think views wise paristaan is way ahead. Chaudhary is in the last. I hope it will pick up soon.

Watched the first episode, well have not watched others the hum tv ones but to be honest mujhe ye bhi OTT lag rha hai kaafi, typical geo but yes the budget is high kaafi on site shootings hain not just one or two houses, kaafi jagah ki hai, like akhada, college.

And my god imran ashraf is terrible, idk what to say hammad shoab sahi kar rha tha 😂 ab samajh jao.

And this week is going to be a treat for us , ktk teaser on its way ❤️

Imran Ashraf se toh better Danish hi kar leta...usne kiye hai aise roles in the past, slapstick comedy types.

Btw jo online views ka hai na, that is also because C&S gets uploaded the last.

Plus abhi saara buzz hai Hum ke paas- CC ka hangover, Ahad, CBA-Aymen.

Geo isn't known for Ramadan plays, voh toh Ishq Jalebi became a surprise hit last year.

Toh imo this baar ke real figures second week mein aayenge. When the audience starts watching it for content and not hype. Mujhe nahi lagta Paristaan and Hum Tum will be able to hold itself for the entire month...it was way too underwhelming and I was honestly looking forward to watch Paristaan.
