Wow. These are so so valid notes.

I guess they wanted to go back to KD - transfer & confession. But did not know how to tie the plots together....so they did some quick fix work. Before transfer, Rono had cooled down and was civil & friendly with Emon. Here, Virat was still throwing tantrums....so they made him flip suddenly in order to move on to transfer & confession. Hence the disconnect. Sunny's talk with him, Sai's care & concern during physiotherapy and noticing how his rudeness was affecting Sai (we have to assume he saw her crying)....they all acted as catalyst in cooling him down a little. Would have been better if Virat had been civil and subdued instead of being all smiles and nok jhoky...

He has immense love for her.

But the divorce broke him. He won't be able to deal with this again. Hence the walls and rude behaviour.

I agree with you, Sai was quick to notice his changed expressions at her failing the exam jab.

But still, I wonder if they would ever be able to communicate it properly.

That it was love all along and not just a husband wife Zimmedari thing.

Makes sense why Sai is being so patient with Virat right now. See, Sai is a very perceptive person; she understands people's (as well as her own) emotions. Only time when this instinct fails her is when it is overtaken by her insecurities.

The disconnect that was there before - and remains still - is Virat's failure in recognising that Sai's outburst, her anguish during the Shruthi track was that of a wife. It was so evident in her words, her pain. It's impossible to believe Virat did not register it.

My doubt that Virat might flip is because I feel he melted too fast between before Sai going to college and coming back. Or was it the added effect of Sai calling him swami🤔

I also thought they are going back to KD with transfer. But Sai said that he will request himself to cancel the transfer. Maybe they will have confession before he went for transfer. Sai will not go to DIG but I dont think she will let him go for his transfer either. If I am not wrong, Emon was not convinved yet when Rono went for transfer but Sai is convinced now.

Virat seem to have recognised Sai's changed behaviour before going to mission. The night at camp while looking at their photo, the night at hotel while Shruti was sleeping..he also recognised why Sai was angry at him when she came back to take her ID, her outburst in their room after throwing his phone and knew she will be angry if he didnt go to her award ceremony. But Sai's speech during the ceremony changed his thinking. Her speech made him feel he is not important to her even now. Its his trait that when he is hurt, he fails to see others hurt. When he admitted to giving Shruti the identity of his wife at hotel, Sai said she is no longer his wife or friend, nothing. Then the divorce and confrontation at hostel, and he gave up on her as a wife although he know they are legally still husband and wife. He said 'I dont consider you as my wife' to Sai after he requested for transfer. I think thats why he is not seeing Sai's action is that of a wife. But now Sai keeps repeating pati-patni and he even said the same when she asked where he is going getting all dressed up. Maybe he is starting to see Sai is behaving as a wife. Although I am not fond of Sai's meddling in others life but she is the type to go till the end. She genuinely cares for Shivani and cannot see her disturbed. But I am glad she is taking Virat in her plan, husband-wife in a team. Maybe thats also why he will agree to join her mission of uniting 2 broken hearts, and will understand where her action came from along the way, maybe.
