As for Ranbir not being able to get out of this one, more than all the sentimental reasons of Alia always being there for him and his family, I think practically he might not find another girl who would be willing to accept him for who he is the way Alia seems to. Unless his mom arranges his marriage with another socialite with skeletons in her closet. Also Alia has made sure to constantly remind people of how much in love with Ranbir she is. She’s not only ensured her own backup positive PR in case something goes wrong but also negative PR for Ranbir.

Or maybe just maybe they are actually are in love AS THEY HAVE STATED MANY TIMES and want to be together how about that?

Of course he has every right to marry whomever he wants. In a very conservative country like India however, being openly bisexual is not something that will bode well for him, ironically even less so in a very liberal environment of Bollywood because as the video says he has to maintain the stereotypes of straight macho man. So yea I am speculating that these round of rumors and specially Ranbir himself commenting or confirming a wedding might be just a move to counter the bisexual rumors.

No body language expert of this forum can determine what their relationship actually is by seeing a two minutes video .
