I don’t think it was staged, Jada has driven Will crazy! Because Will was definitely laughing at the joke till he looked at Jada’s expression which threw him off and sent him into this barrage of emotional and physical reaction!

This is why some think the whole thing was fake, to increase the hype and viewing ratings of the oscars. But then you think would Will Smith be ready to damage his image for the oscars? If it was fake then Will must have asked for a very large amount of money
