I totally disagree on this. Yes he is more busy with his real life than the show. And I don't like the PDA he is into since quite a long now. But there was a time he was quite private. I remember how people started to judge him for his choices. It's not because they wanted him with Ayesha It's because they hate Aishwarya. There are times the bashing he gets is well deserved but there are times it's simply for the sake of bashing. Everything goes against him, 1. The character he plays is not likeable. 2. PDA is his personal choice. I don't have problem with him for that. I only expected good stuffs on-screen which he has failed to provide ofc the ph is equally to be blamed. He just shows up on set to stand infront of camera as he gets paid doing nothing. He himself said on SJ he doesn't like his work indirectly but he has to for paying bills. He & his wife threw the audience under the bus on ntv the same people who made them whatever recognition they got through Ghum. They play victim card to seek sympathy. He's not the first actor to get hitched with some other actor of his show other than the FL. Nobody's asking him to please anyone. Koi pagal thori hoga bewajah hate karega. I don't have problem with Virat's character as much as I've with his portrayal & obviously offscreen behaviour. If he's bored he can't be excused for that, he's getting paid and we audience pay to watch him perform, he's an actor. Why should we compromise? If he has so much issues he should respectfully leave but why would he jab bina kuch kare paise mil rahe hai. You may not agree but it's a fact the show has zero actual romance in the show cus of presence of his wife on set & he has issues with Ayesha, it's evident. He doesn't have to be friends with her but when it translates on-screen obviously he'll get bashed for unprofessionalism. He's himself blurred the lines of reel & real alongwith his wife and ph. When he gives heart eyes to Ayesha on-screen he should know it's VIRAT giving to SAI not him to Ayesha or when his character gives angry look to his real wife.

I started watching the show post their RoKa so why would I hate him for getting hitched with Aishwarya... Pretty much everyone can see by now their relationship played the biggest major role with regards to current condition of the show be it on or off-screen. They not only have ruined the viewing experience but gets leaves after leaves randomly every other day for nothing for vacations holidays or whatever.

No problem with appreciation but the heading & many comments here itself is provocative. That people hate him or judge jealous of him getting married to Aishwarya... I'd not have bothered to come here if not for these jibes & barbs.

I started to watch the show on holi beginning....so whatever the actor does offscreen I don't have any problem...but onscreen no compromise....there are many who is attached to virat chavan than the actor....so whenever they feel virat is ruined by actor they will protest...

Intially he was good but was disappointed with his emotional scenes except ladakh fight...amey fight, shivarathri and holi episodes are always delight to watch.. .also loved GC scenes when he went to sorry to sai and patch up,mahabelashwar track...some fight scenes before second track,mimo track....

What happened in shruti track was they included more CN drama in shruti track in December to accommodate ml absence which ruined essence.....divorce episodes was normal.......but seriously I didn't liked hospital track...his acting was below average...then after mahaepisode NB improved....today also he was not soo bad..I think there was some amount of angst in his scenes today...holi episodes I loved it....

And coming to uncomfortable with fl....two questions always struck my mind...he gives tight hugs on-screen... then how come he will not stand near fl for his scenes...I think director should take notice....

But no excuse for ml for not remembering his onscreen name.....I don't like actor but nitpicking actor for every thing is not good...similarly constructive criticism should àlso be welcomed

Firstly remember this is a forum which is suppose to discuss both positives and negatives of a show as long as there are no abusive words used against the actors but criticism of characters and storyline , even speculations about the story both positive and negative are allowed. This is not an AT where only positive posts will be welcome. Negative posts are allowed too as long as it stays within IF's COC.

Kindly refrain from adding any type of disclaimer in your post.

Secondly, you all have a different POV. Learn to respect other person's POV whether you agree or not and if you want to oppose it then do it in a civilised manner without ganging up against him/her.

To throw a tomatar against someone is easy but to clean the splashed tomatar is not.

NB has had his ups & downs. I don't like his OTT performances personally I feel he goes overboard in action scenes & Sai's head injury hospital scenes. Sometimes begin to wonder may be director should pull him up & say this is a TV show not a theatre performance.

Still I will respect NB for giving a good performance, wish he has a positive influence around him - who can give him honest feedback about his performance & not the chamchas, who would appreciate him for everything.

Good post & pov's especially from NB fans on this topic. I won't get into the rest, as this is a appreciation post.

Lakshmi, As per IF COC you can use Appreciation thread for genuinely appreciating someone’s efforts . Deepika had opened one for Neil . Bashing and name calling like Nalla ,Rat in the name of constructive criticism is not allowed there unless IF rules changed recently for ghum forum .

The amount of polarization on an actor's performance is simply ridiculous.🤪 Liking/disliking an actor's performance is purely personal....no opinion is right or wrong...we all watch something through a different pair of eyes, process through different brains and like through different hearts - no wonder we dont like the same actor/sportsperson. My sister dislikes Lewis hamilton while her husband hearts him - they have a lot of loud arguments during F1 season. 😆(If they belonged to ghum FD, they would have divorced by now😆). If we like an actor/celebrity we fangirl them, love everything about them, defend them...and yes even blind stan them (mentioning since "blind stanning" has somehow become a bad word nowadays🤪). My friends & I have our own celeb idols/crushes....we tease each other, have a laugh together. There is a certain charm in both the fan's "blind stanning" of the celeb as well as in the fun leg pulling we have with together.

But in this age of social media, everything becomes a serious issue, a battlefield.If someone adores Neil's acting or defends his offscreen persona, they are mocked and made fun of - what is there to mock someone's personal taste? If someone criticizes Neil's acting they automatically become Neil haters - they may be just be people who have a different perception...why should everyone be expected to agree?

People have forgotten how to have fun. Ban social media I say. 😆

I won't go into a debate. I think this forum has had many. Just to make things clear, my comment was a general remark on why he is hated. He gives reasons to be bashed but sometimes people exaggerate too. Everyone don't bash him for the sake of bashing. If your reasons for disliking is different then you are obviously not concerned with my comment. Weather you agree or not, one of the reason for the hatred is his personal life and I am not also saying everyone who dislike him dislike for the same reason.

Appreciating an actor is all fine, main post is all about appreciating and I don't have any issue, but when you drag ppl and start moral policing don't expect that they will not respond.

Many such posts have been made appreciating Neil even after so many months of his roka. Appreciation doesn't come forcefully. Forced appreciation will be an insult to his craft which we have seen with our eyes in past

Him getting criticised on every platform of social media is itself enough that he is lacking to what extent.

Also all his hate is self invited with his offscreen behaviour which many can't ignore. No more comments here.

I have really stopped criticising him lately as of course why to waste energy when it's falling into deaf ears only.

In all he is having bad days of acting since long unfortunately, nuances for which he was known are lost, hope his fans will try their best to give him the constructive criticism which will help him only.

P.S. regarding his unkempt hair,sorry but his hair were all fine in all previous worst tracks when he was exhausted, crying n all, means he had time for grooming n all😳 at that time. This is we call pure laziness and zero interest from both actor's and director's side.
