As per puranas we havevarious descriptions which are very complicated and beyond our understanding..Sosome authors and poets like Kalidas have taken the essence of it and explainedin lay man language.
Coming to Parvati devis memory loss:
To understand that we need to understand the basic concept of it.. Adishakthi which is the moola form of Parvati devi had this doubt whether shivji will love her as devotedly and loyally as she loves him.. She is saying that to Shivji that usually ladies even if the spouse passes away.. still remains devoted and committed lifelong whereas gents remarry again if their spouse dies.Hence their love for the partner is very shortlived compared to the ladies..Shivji says its not so..even gents can remain committed and loyal til the end of time..
To test this, adishakti takes the form of Sati devi and marries shivji after facing lots of challenges... But here she in the mortal human form and is still bounded with all the mortal family attachments.. and fail to realize that she and shivji is beyond time, or family attachments, or materialistic bindings..And also Adishakti in the form of sati devi had to test shivji and his love..So she ended up discarding her body due to the humiliations faced by her father.. And shivji in rage kills her father Daksh but later revives him..
Shivji carries the corpse of sati devi all around lamenting in sorrow and for the welfare of the whole world, Vishnu slices her body using sudharshan chakra and the fallen parts of devi forms the shakti peeths.. Later Shivji goes into deep meditation and meanwhile Sati devi undergoes several births until she reached the birth o fParvati.. The skulls that we find hanging around shivjis neck is the remembrance of her 107 births that Parvati devi had to undergo to attain Shivji...and also the pain that shivji underwent for parvati during that time waiting for her. and by then all her doubts related to shivjis love was clarified.. Shivji was still terrified though of the fact of losing Parvati devi again.. and hence he ensured that she releases all her mortal bondages and attain her full form with all her energies before he marries her.. He wanted Parvati devi and her love without any attachments..and losing her was his biggest insecurity in life..
We can see this same insecurity in Abhi as well of losing Akshara and her love.. and he is somebody who wishes Akshara to prioritize him over her family or any other attachments.. We know that Aksharas biggest weakness and her strength is her family. Abhis love for Akshara is extreme and above anything but still he became an idhar udhar due to her several rejections and ended up proposing arohi under pressure.. So in a way he needs to be purified for the mistake he committed in front of the family and herself too and prove his dedication and selflessness through the upcoming challenges in life…And probably memory loss if it happens is one such track to bring that aspect out and also to face his biggest insecurity.. Life teaches us lessons with trials and tribulations and ensures that we learn the lesson.. and until we learn it.. it keeps on repeating again and again through n number of problems..
Parvati memory loss:
Once Parvati was very curious and excited for getting a flower garland made by shivji on his own from the beautiful flowers belonging to various seasons.. So she said that she has complete faith on him to make that garland and give it to her in a fixed time and if he is unable to do so.. she will lose her memory completely.. So shivji collected all flowers from different seasons and made the garland.. But on his way, he met God Indra and had a tiff with him due to indras ego by which Shivji got angered resulting in garland in his hands burnt to ashes.. Now he didn’t have the time to collect the flowers again from different seasons and give it to Parvati.. Parvati seeing the ashes immediately lost her memory and returned to her parents in the palace as she was before the marriage.. And Shivji wa shelpless here cause it was Adishaktis words and he couldn’t disrespect her by using his own power to regain back her lost memories.. So the lost memories parvati on her own had to be regained back.. and later come back to her love Shivji and in the meantime Shivji protects her and her dignity from the asurs who kidnaps her, as she has forgotten and lost all her powers as well…so unable to protect herself on her own..
Akshara gets triggered and his traumatized if she sees a mother hurt.. Maybe due to the accident and her lifelong accusations, guilt and trauma of losing her mother or maybe realizing that she might have hurt some mother though unintentionally may end up in severe brain damage like probably a blood leakage or blood clot due to rupture of a blood vessel..as shown with the rupture of pipe in the goon chase episode leading to water loss by that water fountain.. and here it maybe memory loss.. So it’s a fight for Abhi for his love again and it would be really interesting to see how he faces these challenges.. and proves his selfless love and dedication for his beloved akshara who is the whole world to him… lets see how do they fulfill their respective vows they had taken for each other in times of crisis.
This story shows each characters weakness and strengths and their ardent wishes in their life and the struggles they undergo and the blunders they make on the way to achieve them.. Each one has a specific wish,,specific trait and specific insecurity…Life will teach them again and again to face those insecurities through several trials and tribulations and make them learn the much needed lesson.. For Abhi its losing Akshara.. For Akshara its her attachments for the family and for Arohi its her career with fame and name.. Lets see how do they reach their destination,, how do they face the challenges to reach there and how do they tackle their insecurities when thrown on face….
This post is as per my understanding and view with some of the observations.. and to error is being human.. so have that considerations.. while throwing chappals if cvs try to bomb us in the last minute..with a new twist..
