She made mistakes but she genuinely repented and that accounts for a lot. Not only that, she took the bullet, dagger and what not for Haseena time and again and while we know Haseena appreciated all that, not once that expression was shown. While the character arc of Haseena is shown to be jazbaati, I normally don't find her expressive unless it's towards Anubhav 🤷. Meanwhile, Karishma who knows the language of "ghusa-mukka and laat" and despises jazbaat to the core is way more expressive. She may not be able to put in the exact words at times but she definitely is way more expressive. The CVs need to give more expression to Haseena where she tells people close to her how she feels and not just feel the emotion. I'd personally appreciate the expressive Haseena a tad bit more. Or maybe it's the leader's instincts that prevent her from showing emotions towards her MPT so openly. Maybe she thinks that if she does that then it will be harder to control and run MPT because then everyone will start taking her instructions for granted and do as per their own will.

As for Bulbul Pandey, that man just gets on my nerves, honestly. I mentally punch him whenever I see him and cheer for his constable whenever he embarrasses or insults him. guilty pleasure😆

However, after seeing the precap, am in shock. Haseena/Urmi slapping Bulbul while both being in uniform was too intense and a tad bit scary. Feels very uncalled for but then again, she is Urmila at the moment and not Haseena and as usual, this impulsive action will be quite costly to the entire MPT. It's definite that Bulbul will get her stripped off her uniform and will attempt once again, at shutting down the MPT. I feel like maybe, along these lines, Haseena's memory will return because we all know how much she has gone through to retain their MPT. It's an undetachable part of her and she will never let anything harm it. Even her Haseena flashbacks are getting more and more frequent. At the moment she seems to be suppressing it probably thinking that those are flashbacks of Urmi turned Haseena sequence but, in time to come, these flashbacks may get much clearer. hopefully, Haseena returns soon. I enjoyed Urmi but now I want my Haseena back and I want some serious and angsty confrontations between her and the MPT on the breach of trust.

@bold;

It's because she's MPT's leader she can't be that expressive....but in janakipuram thana track when Karishma was saying those stuff about HM right to her face , HM's eyes perfectly conveyed the hurt she felt when she heard the words like "credit stealer..... jealous individual.... dhokebaaz" even in ep 129/130 when HM was thinking back on KS's words she was crying ( when she was alone)....I'm not saying that HM is perfect , she has her flaws as well like , poor on the spot desicion making when apprehending criminals , always jumps to conclusion when it comes to KS...but it's not that she's inexpressive or something

Even Haseena has used harsh words towards KS during the Barbie upadhyay track , but that was nothing compared to KS's insults in those other tracks.....idk how can she even be this close with ks after all this ( I know KS is not a bad person) but IRL if a subordinate/friend says those stuff about someone , the other person would distance themselves from them forever...idk how Haseena forgave KS that easily....well if she can forgive Anubhav thrice for all the betrayals then I'm ready to suspend my disbelief....

I always felt that this whole Urmila track was an unintentional revenge by HM to KS....making KS to have a breakdown every 5 mins , making herself question her deduction skills , KS blamed herself for that recent Lalla track..... HM inadvertently made KS pay for all the hurt she has caused her....but this is Haseena's turn to ask for forgiveness I don't know how Haseena is going to make up to the entire MPT team for this betrayal/deception HM unknowingly made everyone into an emotional wreck , I won't be suprised f the entire MPT members' faith is shaken or if they decide to give Haseena the cold shoulder for a while , it's going to take a long while for Haseena to gain MPT team's trust like she had before this mission.....also KS is not going to let this slide easily even Pushpaji for that matter won't let it go easily.....Chita and Santu might be pissed off for a while then they will go back to normal....I honestly don't know how Billu would react...

@everyone;

^ I know this is a dark take on the track , I know that Haseena and Karishma have put aside thier differences and became good friends , I also admit that KS has always taken a knife , bullet for her Maddam sir , both of them are not grey characters or anything and I just want to state here that I didn't mean to bash any characters here....this is something I thought last week or so and just remembered it now...I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings here... please don't get offended

Weird but I think I can agree with all 3 of you about the HM-KS dynamic.

Karishma was at her absolute worst in the jankipuram track, but after it ended there's been no looking back. She has developed leaps and bounds, from attending an anger management course to tolerating asi mira to running MPT alongside grief of HM's death to now managing urmi. KS has made up for all her mistakes not by physically protecting HM, but by changing and improving her own self from within. That change is the best apology she could give. It cannot be expressed in words or shown in actions but can only be proven in the most critical of times. The amount of self-control and restraint KS has shown in this mission track seems unbelievable if you compare to the KS from a year ago. What more can she gift HM than becoming a better person.

Haseena is expressive in my opinion, but selectively for certain emotions. Her pain and hurt is always clearly reflected in her eyes, whether its from karishma's harsh words or the mention of anubhav's name after being betrayed twice. At the same time though, she won't let her appreciation, love or concerning emotions become too evident. The way she used to say 'aap thik hai karishma singh', even if someone is not okay they'll feel obliged to say yes. I think a bit more care in harsh times wouldn't hurt her leadership or the MPT's discipline.

I don't think anyone will get offended by your opinion sainath, it makes sense and we're all here to discuss openly. Regardless of how much KS has repented, it is true that words can never really be taken back. Mean words always come back to haunt the listener, even if they have forgiven, but they may never be able to forget. If the relation is precious though, the only way out is to move forward. KS can't take any of her insults back but she's done everything to try being a better person. HM wouldn't have forgiven her immediately, but the genuine apology followed by genuine change would've definitely allowed her to give their friendship a second chance.

Although dark, I'll agree that at some subconscious level this mission became a retaliation against KS. She's the one whose pain, angst, confusion, and frustration we've felt the most throughout the track. Her insults seem to be getting paid back to her many multifold. Everything did seem like HM's 'win' more or less (until she lost her memory and her hard-earned reputation). Yes HM was sad at seeing loved ones cry over her death, but clearly those tears didn't defeat her determination to keep lying.

I also think that's the only reason Haseena keeps her emotions in check when it comes to MPT because of the responsibility that she shoulders and it does make sense. Hence she does most of her expressing when she is all by herself. One of my personal favourite episodes of Haseena going out of her comfort zone and her principles and risking it all was the episode when Pushpa was tied down with a bomb by a terrorists' brother who demanded his release. That was one power-packed episode of Haseena showing her boss lady avatar. Still one of my favourite tracks.

@bold: Wow... If such a sequence comes, i don't know if i would be super excited or too shocked to react 😆 nevertheless, it would be so cool to see a grey- Haseena Mallik because why not? However, currently I don't think the audience will be able to take it well because they are still grieving over Anubhav. Saw on Twitter that they were supposed to trend something, don't know if it happened or not though 🤔 But, yeah i am totally in to see a darker side of Haseena. We all have seen Karishma's level of stooping low then why not get Haseena down the pedestal a bit too. A person with so much goodness and having so much bad happening to her will eventually have a point of break. I wish they show something in lines to that for Haseena later once all the current chaos is wrapped. If not, then can I, maybe, expect an OS from you, please? 😅😅

Oh... And you don't need to apologize for putting forth your thoughts and opinions. It's always a pleasure reading multiple lines of thoughts and interpretations. That's the whole point of the discussion. Everyone is welcome to share POVs as long as they are always put in a respectful manner. 😳

Now that you mention it even I think Chita will bring Sajan in....( Idk why or how I thought it would be Anubhav...the YouTube comments influenced me? 🤷) For once I want Chita's Aashiqui dimaag to take over and obsess over santu and not do this.... Urmila is already confused and is on the verge of a complete breakdown , if Sajan appears she'll leave with him to Mumbai without a second thought.... however sweet Sajan is I don't want him to be back ( atleast until HM's memory is back....when the confrontation scene is going on between MPT and Haseena even he can jump in that wagon and....idk cry or complain? The only way the writers can make this sensible is Chita calls him when this mess is going on but he couldn't make it so he arrives late...)

Right now bulbul pandey has messed with everyone in MPT; he arrested Chita , Billu , Santu , made sure a war erupted between Haseena and Karishma ( honestly I hated that track , the things Karishma said about Haseena still haunts me whenever I see people praising thier friendship) , "shot" Pushpaji , and now he's going to get Haseena suspended...

@Bold: That was the track where Karishma has crossed all the boundaries. I won't say Haseena wasn't at fault at all. But weight of Karishma's mistakes were much more. Honestly, I never thought the mistakes she did could have been forgiven but I believe if someone repents deeply, all their mistakes are forgiven. And Karishma did repent. Not only she repented but she has grown into much better version of herself since that track. And not to forget how quick was Haseena in forgiving her both the times, once when Karishma asked for friendship and secondly when Karishma asked forgiveness after orders of MPT shutdown were taken back. That track was the turning point in their friendship.

@Bold: Here I'd like to disagree respectfully. No denying to the fact that Karishma is more expressive when it comes to express her love to people she adore, especially Pushpa Ji and Haseena. She has number of times mentioned what Pushpa Ji or Haseena is to her. She is a reserved person but when someone makes a place in her heart, she lets them see real Karishma behind the dabang Karishma Singh. Many times Haseena mentioned that behind bandook se bhadi Karishma there is a romantic girl who loves her husband so much. She has let Haseena console her when she was taking anger managed classes and thought she failed. She has said Hassena how difficult her childhood has been. She has expressed in front of MPT how she struggles everyday due to her low income.

I always felt Haseena is a completely reserved personality. She is someone who will be there for you but won't let you be there for her. She might have consoled Pushpa Ji or Karishma several times but not for once she did let anyone see her pain. She keeps them all to herself. She shared her happiness with them (like accepting infront of Pushpa Ji she loves Anubhav) but she won't share her grief with you. She never cried infront of them. During Jankipuram track, when MPT was about to shut down, when others cried their heart out, she had responsibilities of being a leader and bring back their lost confidence. When Anubhav left her during Sagai, she smiled infront of others and got other couple engaged. She assured Ammi through her gestures but cried alone, in four walls of her room. Even during fake Haseena case, Pushpa Ji tried consoling her but she didn’t let her do that. Perhaps it might be her leader instincts that tells her she has to be strong everytime. Forget about anyone, she hasn't even let Ammi see her pains. Her eyes clearly expresses her pain but she won't be vocal about that. I guess first time she cried infront of anyone was when Anubhav forced truth out of her.

Sau baat ki ek baat. This is what makes Maddam Sir different from other ITV shows. All these characters have been written with such a dynamics that you cannot categorize them into back and white like other shows. There is no hero or villain here. You cannot hate anyone of them because each and everyone of them have been both wrong and right at one point. Of course we all have love one character more than others but then too we have to accept your ideal character from this show had their share of mistakes.

These completely opposite people with their own flaws and principles forming a team is something that attracted so many audiences.

@bold: Exactly this 💯 one can be annoyed by the characters temporarily, but hate is definitely too strong of a word for any character. Each character definitely has their own dynamics and eventually, that's what makes us love them more. I doubt there is anyone who can despise any character from the show and that is definitely a rare trait of this show. There are not many shows on ITV which can claim such a rare achievement.

@blue: Funny enough, I still don't have a favourite character because for me it's the whole package, the entire MPT. And each one of them has been a target of my appreciation or criticism at one point or the other. Nevertheless, it's true though that it's all these flaws that make them more humanly and relatable. The diverse personalities coming together as a team, is definitely one of the main reasons why the audience is hooked.

Lol, you guys better ignore my last two posts 🤣

I really had a busy day today. Was running here and there entire day. When I returned back, I found interesting discussion here. I started typing and was also sleepy so even I don't know what I typed 😆. When I read it now, I feel I messed up both posts.

But to summarize, I feel Haseena is not less expressive. She expresses all her concern, pride, anger or disappointment when it comes to MPT. She has always expressed if she was proud of MPT. She also expressed fear and concern if any of MPT member was in trouble. Many times she expressed anger too when she felt MPT being put down by someone. She was even concerned for Billu when he was put behind bars by Bulbul and she had once ran behind Billu to make him eat his food. I remember she expressed how disappointed she was during fake thana track especially with Pushpa Ji. So I feel she expresses herself but being a lady who has lot of control over herself, she knows what amount of emotions should be expressed. She expresses it through her actions. She won't be vocal about them. But yes she is less expressive or not all expressive when it comes to herself or her personal emotions.

But no denying Karishma is more expressive. Her emotions are always extreme, be it love or anger. If she loves you, she will fight entire world for you and of she hates you, she won't bear a sight of you.

wow, such an interesting discussion going on here. dont mind me entering it like a bhatakti Atma. after reading everything, I realised that maybe the word I am looking for in regards to haseena isn't expressive, maybe it's invulnerable.

I will agree that she has expressed her feelings be it happiness, anger, disappointment and pride in front of her team on more than one occasion. I will not deny that she has come out of her comfort zone before to help those she cares about and show them how she feels about their actions.

so reading back, I realised that I should have better phrased myself. what I meant to say is that she is restrained when it comes to her own emotions. as someone mentioned (Komal, I think), she will be there for you but won't let you be there for her. so while she expresses every other emotion, sadness is something she doesn't. haseena doesn't let herself be vulnerable in front of the people she loves.

I might end up contradicting myself here because previously I mentioned how haseena has been given the free range to be openly expressive since she was a child. that is why she understands them and does show them from time to time. but I am guessing that after her father's demise, she learned to be strong for her mother and that's why she doesn't show her sorrow in front of anyone. she doesn't want to add to her mother's pain by adding her own problem into the mix. this instinct as one may call it has extended to the way she deals with MPT. the dynamic there for her was being a leader at first hence she wasn't that vocal about anything. but as time went on she started seeing them as a family thus everything else -happiness, disappointment, anger- she doesn't hesitate to leave barren in front of them. but she has this intrinsic need to be strong for them and not burden them with her problems (jankipuram track when the station was being shut down is a prime example).

but it's also one of the reasons why I find her dynamics with Karishma and by extension MPT a little one-sided. for me, trust and communication is a two-way street. if you are there for me in my worst, I wanna be there for you too. I want to help you. I want to know that you trust me just as much I trust you. in that aspect, vulnerability is key which haseena doesn't express.

having said that, she has a long way to go but if given enough focus on the mentioned aspect, she can develope so much more.
