Dude, I will say that the idea of two sisters vying for one man will never sit right with me. One thing YRKKH S3 made very clear, and which i liked, was that Arohi was never shown to be in love with Abhimanyu or vice versa. Edwina obviously does feel something for Anthony which... I don't know how I feel about that.

Little Women is one of those classics (like Anne of Green Gables) that is stuffed down the throats of American school kids as part of their curriculum. I found it a bit goody-goody and outdated (and I was forced to play Meg in a school play version🤢)

BUT I can totally see how it would make a great Hindi tv show - the self-sacrificing, morally upright sisters and the one slightly bad sister who manages to snag her sister's rich handsome ex-boyfriend, the saintly mother, the even more saintly father, the mean old tai, the poor but virtuous suitor for the eldest sister. Geez, it has all the ingredients for an ITV soap - good for Ekta Kapoor seeing the inspiration🤣

I'll see if I can check it out - now I'm curious...

(Actually the only book in Alcott's series that I enjoyed was Jo's boys, the last book.)

Lmao, it's hilarious how everything you mentioned WAS NOT in the web series.

The web series highlights the issues of Kashmir, where the four sisters live and each of them trying to find their own passion and will. Their father is in the army, just like the books.

It's produced by Ekta, but the writers, makers and directors are all so good in the job I guess because this web series is a must watch for me.

You'll end up sobbing by the end and very amazing issues like rape, abuse, kashmir's reality, extra marital affairs and trauma is well written.

Hi guys….are any of you still watching the mother show..or have you given up..I just read the written updates to see if there’s anything worth watching for.. Today was full of anupama and switching between the 2 shows…so scenes from both shows were inserted….it wasn’t just anupama meeting the Goenkas…and by the way akshara knows anupama ..they met somewhere 😂…and anupama somehow has the engagement rings….but it looks like abhimanyu will blame Arohi…the man is like on a witch hunt after arohi 😡

Wow... loose adaptation then, those are some heavy themes. The book as I recall was based on the Pilgrim's Progress. Ngl, i can't add anymore shows right now, and not really in the mood for 'heavy'. I going to end up sobbing once my grades come in anyway, I need stuff to cheer me up🤣

Do you watch Bridgerton? I remember you mentioned you liked shows with good sibling dynamics and it definitely has that.
