Swaran and Kanwaljeet Bedi are a loving couple with three sons - Nakul, Vikram and Yug. Nakul and Vikram are both happily married and settled in US and Yug is an aspiring actor. Bhara pura parivaar hai.. enough for people to be a little jealous of Swaran's good luck of having three sons.

Swaran is a very innocent woman; a home maker with not much experience of outside world. Usko kuch bahar ke kaam karna, for example - bills barna, nai aata and she doesn't care kyu ki bedi saab hai. Her answer to any problem she faces is to ask Bedi saabBedi saab protects her from the world but is worried about how she will survive when he is not around. He starts planning for her future financial security.

Swaran is not so worried about her future; She loves her husband and sons immensely and trusts that they will be her pillars of strength when time comes. Bedi saab thinks that there are no greater nalayaks than his sons on the planet. He knows that his sons are greedy, entitled brats who have no love or respect for their parents. Ek money minting machine ki tarah dekh the hai Bedi saab and Swaran ko. Because bedi saab knows their mentality and wont fall for their nonsense, bete Swaran se paise nikalwate rehte hai whenever they are short of money. Bedi saab tries to subtly show their son's nature to swaran but to no avail. Also he doesn't want to hurt swaran by telling her the truth. But as Adi says sach sooraj ki tarah hota hai😆

One day Bedi saab gets a brain stroke and Swaran's world starts unraveling. In the shock of events she realizes woh kitni akeli hai.. She doesn't know how to draw money for the hospital bills from ATM.. Usko pin yaad nai hai. She desperately tries to call her sons only to be ignored by all three of them. Her friend helps her pay the hospital bills; After the operation, Bedi saab survives but is paralyzed waist down. He needs a costly injection to cure his paralysis and restore him to health within next ten days. This injection is easily available in US. When Nakul gets to know about his father's stroke, he promises to send air tickets to Swaran and get her and his father to US for treatment.

But his good intentions don't last long when he realizes the amount he needs to shell out; So he gets conveniently manipulated by his wife Kiran and brother Vikram. Vikram and Nakul prioritize a Disneyland trip and a luxury car over their father's health. Yug, the third son, breaks swaran's FD and then loses 5L ,which Swaran could not afford to lose, and his phone. So he is out of contact during Swaran's desperate time.

Meanwhile Vikram, who commits a fraud at work, sends a property agent to sell swaran ghar under pretext of arranging money for the injection. Swaran is shocked that her sons tried to sell Swaran ghar, which she considers her fourth son; but is still defensive of her sons.

Upset that his mom misbehaved with the property agent he sent, Vikram rudely breaks it to Swaran that they are all in a financial crunch. So they wont be sending tickets or the injection. Swaran is extremely helpless and decides to do what ever it takes to save Bedi saab. She mortgages her necklace to pay for the advance of injection. But unfortunately Bedi saab dies before he gets the injection.

Before dying he invites Swaran's childhood friend and first love Ajit. He asks Ajit to protect Swaran when he is not around.

This show has splendid performances by Ronit, Sangita and Ajay and the OST is beautiful❤️
