I know right☺️ I have been going gaga over them bur ajit ko laakw ji sensitivity maintain ka rrha3 hai woh jo ek ease hai na despite awkwardness woh bedi saan and ajit ki first meeting woh kya kahein ek dusre se.. that hesitation but then having familiarity thanks to the letters ..swaean ke baate main bole na bole woh ajit ja mujhe kyon bulaya..ahh quality stuff.. swaran ka wih immediate why take his name why mention him why is he here. Idk if you have gotten there yet or no nut the moment she will sip the chai he has made and turn around in shock what a moment that is 👏

So fascinating to watch the way they showed those transitions in Swaran....otherwise we had been familiarized with this woman so utterly devoted to and deeply in love with her husband who is a dream husband by any stretch of imagination.....but the way they showed this slice of her past with such subtlety and sensitivity - you could sense she genuinely deeply loves her husband but at the same time whatever she felt for Ajit in a different phase of her life was deep and true too. To see those two parts of Swaran jostling with each other in these scenes....beautifully done.

Absolutelt! That growing up that sheer acknowledgement that yes ajit has been paft of her life..they do not feel that way abour each other now have been sinceree in there marriages but the respect they have for each other.agaun there is a GB where seems like ajit couldn't speak up in time or do much to get married to swaran but no hqtd feelings accepting life as it came as part of life that sheer maturity they have and they ate showing and that very balance is such a rare sight to see.infact of you see I itiqlly swaran has been the one ke isko kyon bulaya woh kyon aaya jawab dein bedi saab she was not pleased with it at all

Have to mention the FBs of young Swaran and Bedi Saab too.....haha really adorable scenes showing how their relationship evolved from an arranged marriage to a deep/devoted love. Swaran sach mein maasoom bacchi hi thi....lol he handled her so well in getting her to open up about her relationship with Ajit. And aww he was instrumental in Ajit-Swaran turning into pen pals to keep in touch over the years cuz Swaran was upset he got married too😆.....ok I turned mush for all these plot devices cuz mere type ka old school hai.....haha chitthiyaan bhi hain❤️....now I can only hope they use all these tropes nicely aage.....+1 oh the chittiyan until now has a point cannot wait for you t get to the scene where he read her chitthi to her only to give her himmat this is what it will be used for❤️and the girl they have used to play young swaran she is so cute too totally suits woh naive sa bholi si ladki..I esp love how bedi saab has given her that comfort ke woh khulke kuch bhi bol deti hai in regards to anything woh jahan pehle din she did hesitate thodi Dari thi and the way she became the chatterr box ek dum awww when he suggested yeh penpals wala idea toh sach main itna cute hai..and the way he reads the letters to prepare for what to say. Woh ek bedi saab ki taraf se jhijhak but also he has to read to get to know ajit..woh ek orivacy bui respect ksrni hqi..he isn't teying to scandalize anything itne aaram se reading..pyara ek dum

I've only now reached the party episode where Ajit comes to the house and him and Swaran talk for the first time in years....that little awkwardness over "twaada - aapka", Bedi saab watching with a bittersweet smile from the side, Ajit talking to Swaran about her kids in the photo.....all such nicely done scenes yaar👏.....I wasn't sure how Ajay would pan out in this role given the larger than life impact of Ronit as Bedi Saab....but he's holding his own vis a vis his equation with Swaran....let's see if it can continue to develop into something good.

Yes i hope they cut down in bachon ki schemes and focus more here that moment of his but you wanted betiyan bete toh chahiye hi nahi thay and again that slight tilt of swaran's neck there ke andar isko bhi yeh hai andaza iski aulaad kya hai but manana nahi hai sigh.. the way ajit so warmly prayed for Swaran aand bedi saab ka good rishta matlab ek dum dil jeet le

There is scope to develop their relationship really well because Swaran devoted her life to Bedi Saab and her kids after marriage....but the Swaran before marriage is one known only to Ajit - woh alag dosti and understanding thi as she said in the FB also ki pyar ka izhaar bhi nahin karna padaa and bas aapas mein samajh thi ki pyar karte hain.....lol....so yeh alag waali understanding they can rekindle sensitively again but yeah time will tell kitna live up kar paayenge to potential given the channel and makers.....lol

I did watch the drowning/rescue and letter reading wala epi just now too....again, itna ease hai Ajit-Swaran ke bond mein without getting into too many details....their young days ke FBs are sprinkled in just right to give context to the scenes. Woh "tujhe toh betiyaan chahiye thi" wala scene is a great example of this....ekdum flow mein it came through that Ajit remembers every little thing she's said and bechari Swaran..... sach mein betiyaan hi ho jaati - kahaan aise loser teen bete paida kar diye.....lol

Ajit really gives such an impression of SOLIDITY in her life without being overt about it....that pooja at the funeral and how Ajit just silently managed all the responsibilities of taking care of the food, the pandit etc.....and just that simple nod of thanks from Swaran as she's leaving the room - that understanding that she spoke of in her wedding night wala FB....that shows so nicely in moments like this.

Haha yes, expectations toh mere bhi thode badh gaye seeing the potential in the Ajit-Swaran equation.....they have that thehraav and maturity for now that is lacking in the other so called "mature" couple Maan....wahaan pura din Antakshari and teenagerish crap karne ke chakkar mein gobar kiya hua hai but Swaran-Ajit for now have that restraint for a duo with past history so I'm liking that.

Baaki toh wohi usual issue rahega ki Daadi ka friend/boyfriend (jo khud bhi Dada hai with beta/bahu as well....lol) accept karna will be a long shot for TRP audience.....lol usually they want jawaan log as typical married couple dealing with usual bakwaas. Yeh older logon ki story attempt karna abhi bhi risk hi hai ITV pe....but still SG deserves kudos for giving it a good/nuanced treatment so far.

Right now, even without revealing much, they've established Ajit ka character in a pretty solid way....it's like we are discovering him and Swaran through those letters as they are mentioned or these old FBs....they are both in awe of Bedi Saab and his love for Swaran....it's like even in their letters they could talk freely and Ajit apnaaoed Bedi saab like his own even without having met him....woh Swaran ke liye bhagwaan the toh Ajit ke liye bhi apne ho gaye.....that's true shiddat, not the cheap bakwaas peddled in Fliplie land.

Anyways, dekhte hain aage kya milta hai....lol abhi ke liye itna content milna bhi surprising lag raha hai in the face of baaki drama of Swaran ke leechad bacche.....lol

wohi toh the moment she sips it takes a pause and then turns woh isntant her tryign to understand yahan chal kya raha hai and after he gives the promise and the tragedy strikes since then swaran has automatically welcomed him back without much pooch gaach neither did he insert himself in her internal matters jahan bhijitna bhi he caz support and be her dost he is.. again yes all those rituals with him being her support in all this managing all this without even utteringa word .. eharing everybody curious baataein banaooing in their capacity ke yeh hai kaun why is he doing things chup karke still going on...apne bhi bete bahu ka bas utna hi banatana jitna necessary hai not breaching any lien to make swaran uncomfortable in any way yet being her solid wala dost and support that she needs right now.. too good truly... that scene i postyed the caps of her main twade naal haan that is all he really needs to say in that churi scene that eased her into accepting that from him into takign his phonecall and listenign to the letter .. the connect indeed is coming across so beautifully and wohi ke he knows her if anythign besides bedi saab knows her it is him and he is keepign that dosti ki laaj that promise ki laaj to bedi saab that word ka pakka.. the respect he have had for bedi saab as person as swaran ka husband comes through and yes the bit ke jo baatein swaran ko hi yaad nahi hain woh ajit reminds her he is kinda reintroducing her to herselff be it the betiyaan line the letter wala incident ya yeh ke swaran is afraid of being alone i mean sab itna bareeki se yaad hai. Must say even the teenage bits with chote ajit swaran are done so well too without the cheesiness just regualr teenaged kids in love there choti choti interactions are so aww

+1 to bold.you said it perfectly matlab dkeho toh they have hardly ahve communicated in words kam bolo but meaningful bolo as i have been saying in my posts previosuly inke beech ki khamoshi and looks main jo magic and udnerstanding hai na that is hard to find the way they get what the other is trying to convey aise hi it really does justify kabhi kehne ki zaroorat nahi padi..

swaran was the one initially not comfortable with the idea of ajit bedi saab mentioning him but just the very fact that she did only caz she saw the 2 men and their mutual respect sirf bedisaab ke kehne pe she has managed jint abe formign the bond on regualr basis againg.. it is indeed heartwarming to see.. i toh lovde how ajoit inmstantly has connected with neelu too and she has given him wohi maan that she used to give bedisaab too caz she too has that kind of vishwaaas in her pyaare uncle jee ki baat.. and for him.. the way she informs ajit and keeps him in loop regards to think woh bina kuch actual loud declaration ke ajit becoming that pillar and solid solid character.

daadi and dada ki bonding relationship like they are showing here is acceptable caz as you said nuanced hai dono marr rnahi rahe ishq main paahgal nahi hain they both know kya right hai and kya wrong hai.. they both have loved their partners way too mcuh and for now just want the saath and more for swaran ka backbone to teach her things to be there.. yeh anupama wale nosnense se different hai that started liek this too but social media ki bakwas se joker ban gaye hain.. hope this one maintains this .. *Sigh* let's see kab tak kar sakte hain.. but for now they behave like adults not like Maan jo are actign as kids jaise sach main bache nahi hain and stuff samaj main nahi rehte. rpecahing ke chakkar main sbject se hatt gaye hain alld aadi cannot be shaadi karoooign does have valid points but then they are moot caz it s turning into token bhashanbaazi as if peopel are that mandh bhuddhi carefully dikhaoge toh the udience can give it a chance show grownuups as grownups and audience can think na.. jab dadi bane log 16 yrs old ki tarah behave kareinge over shaadi toh problem hoga hi..

i absolutly loved swaran in this episode the way she rocked and her nakaara bache shocked jinki raalien tapak rahi thi yeh sunke ke maa has insurance policy oh boy swaran didn;t even had to increase her volume to show them their aukaat.. her simple aajse jo bhi communication hogi mujhsekijiyega caz unki sirf main thi and mere woh.. boy the look she gave their.. and then her knowing exactly what her sons are tryign to do there.. kya inko itne pyaar se sab keh dia with ehr jaana kab hain tum logon ko main sab samkjhti hoon kaam honge yeh woh waise bhui humne kya hi kya hai tum logon ke liye sirf down payments hi toh di hain baaki toh tum log sab karte ho.. wohi bahane jo yeh itne tiemn se banate rahe hian inhi ko waapis de diey with intrest swaran ne.. i loved that absolute detachment she shwoed there and to them ke it;'s ok bade aaye ab smajhane wale ke main sekeh loongi and agar madad chahioye hogi toh phir se le legi sharvari se since their behuda excuse now was you will ened us to do paper work of back and all.. kitne pyaar se she stated facts ke jab zarorrat thi tab nahi aaye toh ab kya papa ka koi tha nahi.. she knows them so well ke sirf papa ke cheezon ka control lene aaye hainbadi chubh gayi inko. yeh baatein but swaran was on another level and i loved her keeping her head high and kitne aaram se inko bhi deny kar dia insurance money and kitni sachi and khari baat kar di ke tehrevi ke baad sign karoongi mere paas toh time hi time hai. and aise paison ke liye kya jaldi jo mujhe aise situation main milein apna pati khoke,.. while they were beign uttawle... oh man.. truth bombs pe truth bombs thay.. i would lvoe to this this swaran aage bhi though we then got to see her franticly tryignto fix the gullak later and talkign to bedisaab ke she did get rude but kya karti she was hurting.. swaran tumne jo kia tha theek kia tha maytlab woh maa ka dil hai jo dukh bhi raha hai but i don;t want ehr to fall for thier bullshit again and stand strongly on her stand.. again bohat hi pyaara scene tha woh bhi jahan she then talks to bedi saab ..swaran totally rocked this episode. no ajit today.. btu the losers have now gotten idea to prove maa wrong right UGHH

it was kind of rebirth of swaran in a way.. the one who may not fullya ccept the truth either with ehr maa ka dil does getting hurt but now she is no longer in denial regarding the truth of her sons. she loves them but she ain't havign unreal views about how great they are and that is growth right there. one could see swaran comign into her own ina way in this epi.. growing up maturing all of a sudden.. khud apni taakat ban jaana with ehr confidence.. it was very nice tbh.. ofcourse she willf alter will have her weak moments many and soon but just that self dependency she displayed today was so beautiful esp in cntrast to that scene ka FB ke mujeh akrne ki kya zaroorat hai

The Meethi Churi scene mein I think the reason Swaran melted was him asking her to eat for Bedi saab's sake....he knew that meethi churi would remind her of him and motivate her a bit.....I liked the simplicity of that scene where he said Rab ke aage kisdi marzi chaldi hai.....zyada lambe essays mein nahin padaa and just stuck to the immediate task of getting her to eat.

Baaki he's anyways in a zone of focusing on responsibilities....sab kuch silently observe kar raha hai and notices the slightest of things like the fact ki Swaran hasn't eaten or that death waale ghar mein koi cook nahin kar raha hoga. Honestly is waqt he isn't even bothered about labels....dosti waali support bol lo, insaaniyat bol lo....he just sees that Swaran needs help and he's stepping up. Yes, Bedi Saab's promise plays into it but it's been done in such a subtle way without doing grand tamaashe of Ajit ke feelings etc. etc....that's why it's nice to watch.

Bete Bahu ko bhi zyada kuch nahin bataya is waqt cuz I think he's kept his past with Swaran shielded from all his family probably.....probably having something to do with how they were seperated too - most likely Swaran ki family didn't agree for his and Swaran's marriage cuz he's from a poor family and that is why they married her off to a rich guy like Bedi Saab. I'm curious to know more about his late wife. He still looks fully devoted to Swaran so I'm not sure he ever loved anyone else.

Word about the teenage Ajit-Swaran being so well cast and their scenes shown so sweetly without being overtly cheesy. What a contrast from woh Maan ki OTT college waali yaadein of lehrata dupatta, cheesy shaayari and one gulaab preserved for 26 years....lol

What I'm finding most fascinating is the way Ajit-Swaran have their past ofcourse as that young love and then this whole period in between of being just pen pals....itne saal bina mile baatein bhi ki ekdum khul ke that she told him everything about her husband so freely and aaj jab mil rahe hain, woh thoda sa jhijhak hai between them despite having been in communication for so long....par woh jo 10 saal ka gap aa gaya beech mein, uski wajah se hai ab ek hesitation bhi....I don't think Swaran knows that his wife has passed....Bedi Saab ko bhi bas puchhne pe pata chala na....I guess Swaran is upset that Ajit stopped writing to her....lol puchhegi aage usse at some point. Badi hi pyari dosti sound kar rahi hai so far *touchwood*......even the way he narrated that Bedi saab waali letter back to her - her initially being like what are you saying then the way she gradually understood ki Bedi saab ki baatein bataa raha hai.....but honestly, more than the letter, I loved the Ludo wala bit where he coaxes her to go finish the ludo game....and just knew ki 6 hi aaya hoga when she rolled the dice and the way she affectionately called her Ludo Champ.....aww kitne common connections hain teeno ke.....Swaran loved chai before she met Bedi saab cuz she loved the chai Ajit made, she loved the way he had his chai with those sudkiyaan😆....but then chai became a thing between her and Bedi saab as he made that morning cup of tea for her daily along with giving her that daily rose. And now Ludo....looks like Swaran played Ludo with Ajit before her marriage to Bedi saab but Bedi saab also amalgamated Ludo into their lives as something him and Swaran enjoyed playing regularly.

Yes, it is that quiet understanding between Ajit-Swaran that I'm liking so much right now....bina bole kitna kuch samajh jaana....he notices every little change in her, feels her love and pain for her husband with so much empathy....insaaniyat par phir se yakeen karvata hai after a show like Imlie basically made us lose faith in insaaniyat only.....lol

Waise toh right now the story is focused on the changes in Swaran from that young, bubbly girl but I guess eventually Ajit ke changes bhi address honge - he was so happy and carefree with Swaran in their youth and ab itna sober down ho gaya hai after all the tragedies life put him through as well.

The fact that Swaran was so uncomfortable with the idea of Ajit being back means there are definitely unresolved emotions there.....no doubt that Swaran loved Bedi Saab immensely but clearly the Ajit chapter of her life has not been shut for good warna she wouldn't feel awkward about any mention of him by Bedi saab. FBs mein dikhaya hai ki at one point Swaran was at ease talking about Ajit with Bedi Saab....but now when Bedi saab brings up Chai ki sudkiyaan, she tries to pretend she doesn't know what he's saying and she's forgotten all about Ajit.....lol but her reaction to mention of those sudkiyaan and her instantly recognizing Ajit ke haath ki chai shows there is a lot more under the surface there.

Basically as Swaran said, us waqt aur bahut bade stress the on her with the worry over Bedi Saab's health, the injections etc....kya sochti woh bechaari about seeing Ajit back in front of her eyes after so many years. Dono husband-wife apne alag alag missions mein busy the.....lol Bedi saab busy setting things in place for after his death and Swaran fighting desperately to save his life....

Ajit seems like he owns a dhaaba of some sort toh cooking hi karta hai and maybe that's also why it was easier to connect with Neelu - woh kitchen waale domain mein hain na.....lol Neelu waise bhi seems to warm up to anyone who cares for her Auntyji.....lol...the way Ajit has stepped up in their time of need, it feels natural ki uski taraf gravitate karega koi bhi in feeling a sense of reliance on him.

and i love it.. i love how we are not spoonfed so far into this on how great ajit is how he is the right choice bla bla or nobody is giving lectures to swaran on this.. word this is called shidaat.. itni shiddat yet leaving the choice to her and having no malice.. 2 grown men being able to talk about their present and past so maturely without having koi gandi feelings and doing lame dances over who will get the ownership of the women.. as if she is apiece of meat... and doing panja fights or other lame fights.. anything that swaran liked has been the top most prirority for both men.. and dono ke liye swaran ki khushi is of utmost prirority everythign else is too petty and thier goal is one her safety her khushi..

people wanna talk about progressive then this is progressive the man havign no issues with his wife comunicating with someoen who was more then a friend.. infact enociuraging them.. lol

ajit ka character i believe will be the one helping swaran as today she said na ke sab appne dum pe learn kar legi. jab itna sab seekh lia manage kar lia toh aage bhi kar hi legi

Wait...how do you know how much Ajit loved his partner or not? 😆....Kuch details toh bataayi nahin much of his relationship with his wife yet....haan Swaran definitely poured herself into loving Bedi Saab but I guess Ajit's side is yet to unfold. The sense I'm getting so far is ki he was happy just seeing Swaran happy in her life.

LOL pata nahin TRP audience kaise react karegi cuz there is indeed a lot to take in terms of umar ka baggage on both sides.....waise bhi they don't actually look like Dada-Daadi....haha mujhe toh abhi bhi ajeeb lagta hai thoda hearing Sangeeta call others puttar😆....she looks way too young even now despite being in her 40s likely....lol just hard to buy her as a young daadi also....haha but yeah looks like Swaran ki shaadi bahut young age pe kar di toh 40s mein hi Daadi ban gayi. And unlike in Maan's case, yahaan Ajit ki bhi full fledged family hai - ek wife thi....grown beta-bahu hain aur chhota sa grandson bhi....lol so yeah let's see how they navigate all that in the days ahead as people from all sides will question their dosti at this age.

Yes, Ajit's role in the story definitely seems to be about helping Swaran find her feet after having been sheltered for so long by Bedi Saab....itne saal Rani jaise rakha use, ab she might rediscover her more humble roots through Ajit since he definitely seems to be from modest means....how endearing is him riding around on that scooter😆......and aaj tak Swaran ke diye huye sweater bhi sambhaal ke rakhe hain😆

I think Swaran has a long way to go still.....lol abhi toh bas early days hain.

Her illusions about her sons were shattered the way very day she saw the text from them asking her to sell SG and their refusal to send money for the injection....uske baad se toh she has barely had time to process her traumas and heartbreaks in her fight to save Bedi saab's life.

Now the dust is settling a bit and so she is asserting herself.....woh jo ek sadma hota hai na of realizing how truly ALONE you are in this world - ki jitne marzi log bol lein woh aapka parivaar hain, saath hain....that moment of clarity when you realize ki sab aapko khud hi karna hai....woh hone lag gaya hai Swaran ko.....that is why she is repeating again and again ki sirf woh hai Bedi saab ke liye aur Bedi saab uske liye. First they were feeling alone as parents....now she is feeling utterly alone as his widow and yes, she has lost trust in her sons to step up to help for anything. Losing Bedi Saab has opened her eyes to that much atleast.

But we will likely see her continue to struggle with shunning her sons....she is emotional about them as is obvious from her trying to repair that gullak again after it shattered....toh that gussa/hurt and maa ka dil will keep going back and forth....woh kehte hain na ki maa ke dil ko jitni bhi chot de lo, woh phir bhi apne bacchon ke liye hi rota hai.....so I think they will show that aspect to Swaran - she will put the kids in their place when needed but beech beech mein emotional blackmail mein thoda bahut sway bhi ho sakti hai.

Bete toh rahenge hi besharam.....Maa ko koste koste bhi uske haath ke khaane ka swaad le rahe hain - pathetic losers.

The grandson is the one bright spot in her life now so that's nice....I like how he's given her a cute nickname - Powerwoman D.....lol. That was a lovely subtle bit they showed of him transitioning that Powerman cape onto Swaran to show ki woh khud se bhi superhero ho sakti hai rather than always viewing only Bedi Saab as a superhero. Orphanage wala scene bhi achha tha and another insight into parenting struggles.....woh beauty parlor waali lady seems like a single mom with a daughter who misbehaves with her and wahaan achha parallel draw kiya with Swaran as that lady tells her ki bade hokar bhi toh aapke bacche aapse aise hi baat kar rahe hain toh dosti karke bhi kya badal gaya......subtly they are weaving in all these messages.....the show does have lovely scope but it needs time jo ki pata nahin aaj ki short attention span waali junta kitna de paayegi inhein.....lol

Anyways, I'm gonna enjoy for now :P.....liked the epi even if there wasn't any Ajit today.....Neelu also subtly snubbing the loser kids was a nice touch :P

Oh forgot to mention, I loved Sangeeta ki acting in the bit when she's saying she will only sign the insurance papers after the tervi....the bittersweet smile with which she says ki she is in no rush to get the money for which her husband had to leave this world.....sigh so beautifully enacted....ekdum dil ko lagta hai.

The sons are such obviously greedy losers ki apni fitrat dikhaate rahenge Maa ko and that is what will make Swaran push back like this from time to time. I loved how she asked them ki waapis kab jaa rahe ho - lol....subtly telling them to get lost and leave her alone.....but Maa ka dil phir agle moment pighal ke wants to cook for them too....sigh.....lol
