As for Abhi operating on his mom, even if we forget that he is cardiologist operating on a head injury, he can be the country's or even the world's best surgeon but it's still not advisable to do so. When a doctor's emotions are involved, it gets very tough to take unemotional practical decisions in the theatre. Manish had been a different case because all said and done, Abhi doesn't have much attachment with him. He can be objective as a doctor. That wouldn't be the case with his mom. That, plus cutting open one's own mom without flinching - as I said in one of my posts earlier, unless he is the only doctor in the vicinty it is not done.

But this is ITV and he is the hero. So he is going to do it and save his mom. 😆
