Yh ig what has me worried is the fact that they seem to have deviated a LOT from the book. I just hope it's all good. I don't mind the slow burn if the payoff is worth it. Frankly I found the sex scenes in S1 annoying - they came at the cost of emotional development which is why Saphne did not work for me as a couple. If Kathony are able to surmount that then I'm all for it

I liked the individual Daphne scene more than any of the stuff that involved Simon.

But okay maybe that one...almost scene on the staircase...That I'd give them.

But apart from that if was pretty sus lol

The initial bit right after marriage I get them going at it like rabbits, because it's the wonder of discovering something new. But later, every time there was emotional confrontation the only way they dealt with it was - more sex. The last episode when Simon comes in to tell her he doesn't want to be alone - for god's sake they could have talked it out then. Talked out his fears and insecurities - instead they just have sex again. There was so little communication - in fact i couldn't even see them as friends.

Netflix India works on different cycles...some titles release early in India but if it's a world over same time release then 12 am PST normally works out to be around 12-12.30 pm in India.

You know it just struck me they may have toned down the sex scenes to capture the Indian audience that they think might be more conservative?? Idk Idk, just random thoughts....

Sadly that's a reality for a lot of couples.. everything starts n ends with sex and nothing more.. very shallow 🤔
