Probably not the place to say this but what the hell. 🤪

I see this on bwf a lot that due to xyz movies /incident/problematic people, bjp will win this state, that election, that municipality election ya national election. I remember reading the same during SSR death that it will help BJP to win. My friend is from Patna and she confirmed that local parties used his name during election campaign. Idk this narrative here is cause majority bwf members stay outside India and gets little information. But really, these people or incidents are not even 0.01% of bjp or its campaign. They will next election, in many states and if luck/public is with them, next to next election too. It's cause there is no opposition. Congress is dead and they don't want to change. The regional parties are strong in many places, but they aren't at that stage to form a coalition and pick someone from their group. Places like North east, bjp won cause they worked a lot (as per people living there). In Bihar Nitish Kumar was going to win and it's because of the opposition party leader that it was a neck to neck fight. Till today, 48% people wants this party and the PM. They really don't care about which movie star did what or that twitter wala spewed what bs.

I think it was good that AAP won in punjab because both congress and bjp-SAD alliance have their dirty history. Maybe by the next few years AAP will be the face of the opposition

Reading some of the posts made by the intellectuals of the forum so triggered by the movie, reminded me of a post made by one such intellectual some time ago saying "While slavery is contemptible(of course) Islamic sex slavery wasn't bad, the enslaved women had a good life in the harem"

I was so dumbfounded
