Have you read the book? It's interesting and the battle of wits between the culprit and the cop is of high-level. However, the tragic ending left me asking for more. I am a believer in happy-endings, maybe that is why I didn't warm upto the novel when I had read a few years back. But nonetheless, the book is riveting in its own might.
