I feel you sis. It was a let down because the T's occupied so much screen time but at the same time the reality is that this jaap of repentance and wishing Imlie the best was coming down the pipe for a while. They've been trying to ease us into it with Aparna changing her tone and language a bit over the last few episodes... all to give the T's some buffer when they finally take some responsibility for their lives instead of depending on a teenager who they treated horribly.

The way they are showing the Tripathis as some adorable creatures, who are swallowing their pain for betterment of Imlie is just infuriating🤬 Abhi tak patrakaar shaamil nahin huye iss pathos ke mehfil mein. I feel you sis. Mili , I have a few bones to pick in relation to the Ts..For me, it has never been- are they good or bad? Advantages of completely skipping out the earlier episodes 😆 but there are some basic standards that any family has to uphold.
-Today, they talked about their debt. Why wasn't thos raised earlier? Why didn't they tell Imlie earlier that she need not worry about this? Why didn't they speak to Aeyan directly about paying it back cuz obviously Imlie does not have the funds to buy the house? (Not sure if this was shown..I ff their scenes 😆)Plus, why don't they move out from there? I mean, first Imlie compelled them. But now that Adi has dushmani with Aryan, why still stay there?
-Coming to their son..Aparna saw that he was heartbroken. Why insist on doing rasams from that house?
- So, AKT believes this shaadi isn't real and that Imlie will come back to him. Why is it Imlie's responsibility to break shaadi and come back to him? He suspected that Aryan has made her majboor. Then, shouldn't he ask her that..or keep checking if she was really ok..like not being coerced or something. If there was majboori, how does her running back to him solve that? Why didn't he ask the most important question - Do you still love me?
- Rupi..Arylie came married in front of her. If she was so concerned for her bro, why didn't she ask Imlie directly? Why does she expect Imlie to break her marriage and come back to her brother? She is the most delusional of the lot.

My blood boils to think about a singing, smiling Aparna because she is living in a " house gifted by her muhboli beti"😡 Agar Rupi kuch job karke, if she got a private jet gifted to her, wouldn't they ask what did she have to mortgage in return for that gift😡🤬 Kaun happy ho jaate hain? Ek baar bhi nahin puche ki, kahan se aaye funds to you Imlie? Surely, her measly salary as an intern won't cover her expenses. That is what Aparna said before that " woh maamuli si naukari karti hain and let the big hearted us😡 invest some money for Imlie" when the whole house thing blew up in their face. But viewers who have seen all that has transpired previously just did not take the bait, in fact it’s irritated many of them, because there is no turning back for the T’s … it’s too late, IMO.
Also for some reason I feel they want to boil it down to Imli taking a decision to marry Aryan or not for herself and not for someone else / under any pressure… how exactly that will play , IDK , just a hunch … especially with the latest promo where Aryan says the last Phere is for you to decide .. and that’s his motive behind all of this too no? For her to think for and put herself first ?
Then again at times I feel , maybe we are putting too much effort in figuring things out and markers will end up showing the same old cliches of ITV … it’s more about TRP and story telling comes in secondary ! They’ll sure have some half ass arc/theory/ insert any word you’d like … 😆

@Bold..Agreed on the intention! But, hear me out, even if they didn't explicitly tell Imlie not to take the burden earlier, the least they could have done is to discuss within themselves. Just for the sake of continuity.I stand corrected if it was shown before. Or they could simply have Aparna take a deep sigh..and go into her "Oh look at me, thinking a lot. I must be a poet" mode..As it is, she does that a lot.
These are small acts which are overlooked by the makers cuz of which it reflects poorly on the characters. (Not saying they were great in the first place) . Another instance...Imlie not even calling Meethi at all to share deets of the latest conundrum. In an earlier post, I had mentioned..Imlie could even have a dialogue like "I wish Amma is here"..or even "I wish she returns quickly from xyz so that I can talk to her" something of that sorts. These loopholes become glaringly evident..cuz these are the bare minimum. I don't expect her to catch the next bus to PD..no..but seek advice from your mom. SK, it seems he has pulled a Houdini. Instead of AKT, why didn't he meet Imlie? Storytelling does take a backseat. But all these loopholes can actually be wiggled out of quite simply. Either, they are not bothering with it..or it is being chopped off at editing

oh asking for continuity is like ask for hidden treasures with ITV! 🙄 I agree with you that they can etch out the characters better, with inner monologue works too like you mentioned. But I don’t know if it’s just lazy writing or considering that this is a daily soap with so many characters it will get overwhelming for them to maintain it all , especially when it runs for several hundreds of episodes if successful. And specifically since they scrap storylines , change plots for TRP and other reasons . As for Imli not talking to her Amma about this , she does not want her involved obviously, because this began as pretend only marriage, took another turn to become which she is trying to rid of, so if she informs Methi as this point , it’s going to upset her mom, at least I am thinking that’s how a daughter would think…. And she does imagine her Amma a few episodes back . But I think I saw a Reel where Methi was dressed up in Rajasthani outfit , looks like she will be making an appearance- I am thinking, either Aryan or Adi must be bringing her in ?
For the promo , maybe it’s my wishful thinking, hoping there is more to it , but may end up playing like you said with the previous one , just as it is … 😆
