Yami Gautam is better than her. Alia is good but not the best yet. But better than the likes of Ananya, Sara, jahnvi etc.

alia's last two films before gangu were kalank and sadak 2 where she was terrible. Alia still is a very surface level actress who doesn't suck fully if script and director is good
