Yes, Ramal and Umeed are half sisters.They have the same father but different mothers, Umeed is 2 years older than Ramal. Ramal is the real daughter of Mahrukh and Sarmad. Mahrukh is Sarmad's third wife.Umeed is the daughter of Sarmad and Komal (Sarmad's first wife and Mahrukh's elder sister). After Komal's death, Sarmad married Neelam.Mahrukh and Junaid were good friends. They loved each other and were about to get married but on the day of shadi, Junaid refused to marry Mahrukh.
