Yeah. They did not understand the importance of it. Eventually they will loose the charm if things go on like this. I can clearly see the decline in hype for everyone. When Terebagair released as PD-ARUNITHA first song it hit 10M in 1 or 2 days. Now Arunitha's solo Babul may make 200k in 2 days inspite of having both PD and Arunitha attached to it and well promoted by everyone involved. That's a big decline. If this continues by this time next year all of them will be in same position as their past finalists. SMP will do well in concerts in future also and I don't think she will ever be short of gigs. But I want her to try and focus on play back opportunities outside her regional market. Otherwise it will be a pity to not utilise her talent. Overall a bit disappointed how things are going on with most of them.

Well, the redeeming factor is the overall slowdown in the film industry as well, coupled with the declining trend of lip-synced playback songs and a movement towards background score. Hopefully things will pick up this year.

The first thought that came to my mind when I saw the 4 AM time stamp was AR Rahman, because he is known to have late night / full night recordings. How I wish that comes true for her!!

SMP is getting awarded in IWDA2022 . She will be performing as well as part of the event on 13th March.
