I never knew you watched YRHPK, was it really that bad? These days I can't even keep track of shows even just vaguely bc they all seem so stupid and pointless. YRKKH went south faster than the Flash 🤣 and I saw some mahoosive trolling over it recently 🤣 and don't even get me started on Kanneda...

Baaki I'm still waiting for that elusive ITV show that is actually engaging and entertaining and makes me want to spend hours dissecting it on IF 🤔

The only recent pak show I watched was ishqiya and only because the ending was fabulous. I loved that she didn't go back to that asshole. 😆

I cheered for her like crazy!!😆

But yep, I watched yrhpk. Horrendous horrendous experience but I already knew it was gonna be bad because

1. The kuku community had warned me. I basically dived in for the depth of their characters.

2. I didn't see any chemistry between rhea and shaheer which I already knew 😆

3.They gave like 1 kuku scene per week which was not that big of a issue for me because I was basically bingewatching and I could skip😆

Mainly it was bad because as usual Itv could not handle 2 fls with main character energy in one show so it played around with the other one!!

(I'm realising it was a very bad decision on my part to jump into the show even after Knowing all of this)🤣

I didn't watch Ishqiya but will have a look at some point.

The Madhuri show...um, it's quite shallow IMO. I liked it in parts, and Madhuri is abso gorgeous, but most of the others around her are pretty useless, as characters and as actors. And as much as I love her, it feels like she's just playing Madhuri...like it's a very "safe" role and there's not much complexity or nuance or edge. Compare it to Sushmita in Aarya or Raveena in Aranyak, and even though those shows were flawed as well, their characters had a bit more oomph and "2022 energy". Whereas this just felt like Madhuri Dixit playing Madhuri Dixit from the 90s.

The ending was kinda of twisty but it took ages to get there and not much happens in the middle. But like I say, okay for a timepass with the family.

I haven't seen the trailer for Kashmir Files or even know what it's about really (apart from Kashmir). Dekhte hain. There's so much content in so many places on OTT right now...it's hard to keep up!

ZDMN - the Koel track was very long but I basically skipped most of that, as well as the cringe Kundan-ji stuff. I think I stopped during the Kundan-Sanjana wedding stuff bc that felt like it was dragging on FORever and it was overshadowing the rest of the show for me. Plus that new doctor dude (Aneesh?) was irritating as hell. I may try and pick it up again when I have some time. I'd rather left it build up anyway so that I can binge/skip as I need.

YRHHK doesn't seem that sweet anymore, from what I can tell. I don't watch it anymore but the forum is all about how its "lost its essence" and is super toxic and how the leads veer from being overly sweet nibba-nibbi babytalk idiots to being completely aggressive, angry and possessive (the ML mainly). So who even knows anymore 🤣

Yeah now that was a show! I think Varun was supposed to do Swaran Ghar too, so a Dev-Pammi reunion...maybe he's the new ML after RR's char dies.
