I don't think Sai will doubt.

You are writer and it's your story but i don't want Jyoti fall for him simply because there needs to be someone for V-Sai to realise residual feelings for each other.

She may admire him, respect him but the love angle doesn't work for me. Anyway that's just my view.

On the other hand, they can become good friends/colleagues and then Sai may misunderstand it as something more.

You got it right. I was thinking on the same lines.

When they get together, Jyoti doesnt know that Sai is his wife. She will praise him, of course professionally, care for him..again professionally...I cant withstand a Pakhi type care here. She will even curse his wife of abandoning him to Sai (by this time the DM has told her the about Virat's past) Virat will overhear that and he will stop her curtly. I am yet to write that scene. Sai will have mixed feelings. Jealous? doubtful? pata nahi.

First I am trying to visualize that how and when Sai and Virat will bump into each other? And whether Sai is going to have an active role in the investigation?

Virat hardly cares for CN wasis. I have tried to show a small bit of concern from Ashwini aai to him, but it looked odd. Maybe I will insert it later somewhere.

Something like she calls him and Jyoti answers the landline.
