Few things on my mind so thought making a post on it and do join in with your input. #ZiddiDilMaaneNa has Shown us some tough women like Koel and Sanjana. Koel breaking away from abusive husband and Sanjana from a male dominated society in which women are suppressed. We saw how the women stood together and won the fight against injustice and crime.

But.....

The big changes happens from home, how we raise our boys and how we teach them to treat women. I felt that they could have (end of the tracks) highlighted that a real man stands with the women and fight. At the same time highlighted that it not only women who are abused, raped or sold. Men are too, but MEN do not have a voice.

The show and specially Sidsa is about gender equality and breaking the stereotypes. It important to mention men as you mention women. The story can be about struggling women (that what's brings in TRP) but acknowledging the men in the same situation. To be honest I would love to watch ZDMN having a track or side story about a man being abuse or been abused. The effect it has on them and how they can't share this to anyone. It's topic that need to be discussed openly.

I also feel it important (not my bias side talking) that if you have a character like Siddhart, who are breaking the stereotypes, who fight against injustice towards women, should be highlighted with a message, that a real man is someone who would fight for women's rights and who are not afraid of showing his vulnerable side.

Especially in the village track, when Sid was fighting for Sanju's dreams and help saving the girls. His name should have been mentioned and before all the Agent by Mr. Batra. Still can't get over the fact, that they forgot Sid. Hoping that on women's day when Spl. Agent Sanjana is honored, she will at least mention Siddhart.

In the message of "women empowerment" and their struggle, it important not to forget the men who are different and in the same situation.

@green Finally, someone mentioned this out here. I mean, there's a clear difference between women empowerment and extreme feminism.

Woman empowerment doesn't only revolve around women fighting against their ordeals themselves, it also involves appreciation and encouragement of men or children for that matter who help and support women to fight for themselves.

In this case, it was Sid who brought out the human trafficking issue and also, it was him who fought for Sanju's dreams and her ambitions when she had herself given up hopes. Hence, he deserves to be praised, and so does Bala!

As much for Sanjana mentioning the name of Siddharth, I have not much hopes as the press conference seems to be revolving more around Aneesh's conspiracy [Would be happy if I'm wrong though]

Really love SidSa but it has come around more of a one-sided love story till now where Sid has always been happy to give up everything for Sanjana. She has taken care of him pretty well but it's not clearly explored like his case.

I just hope that the makers explore more about her feelings, it's depth and how she's ready to go to any extent for Sid because it has be equal from both sides and after all that Sid has done, we deserve Sanjana's equal efforts.

(This is my opinion, do share this on my behalf)

As a female when we grow up, we do have many boundaries and always searching for our own identity.

Said that, mentally we as women are very strong and when it come to it, we can fight anything and anyone. Especially when it comes to people we love and care about. We just need one good reason, because what we often don't know how to do is, fight for ourselves and while we are looking for that one reason to fight back, time has past and we accept it as our destiny.

Sometimes we make an excuse,. because we are afraid of standing alone and the unknown. Koel used her son and Sanjana her parents as excuse. When Nikhil should have been her strength to fight back way before she actually did.

As Siddharth once said:" If you are not happy, then how will the people you love (claim to make a sacrifice for) be happy???"

It's also important that you accept the consequences of the choices you make and don't victimize yourself or you are stuck with the trauma and pain forever. 'Accepting' helps you to move forward.

Beside the jail track, these two tracks was my favorite, even though I wish few things was different. For me the phycological journey of a character is very important. That's where I connect. I missed that a little in Koel's track and in Sanjana's track there was many topic that could have been explored more.

Most important, Sid is one character who is breaking the stereotypes and sending out an important message, which at times I wish the makers would highlight more.
