Yes, Ram is a well-natured person, and that distinction needs to be cleared. Parents have the power to make or break a child’s confidence. Pri is the reason for MS’s embarrassment that his male ego can't digest. So, he takes every opportunity to put her down. Added to this, her confidence was broken by Neeraj. Twice beaten and always shy. This is where she was when Ram came into her life.
But now, when equations are changing, she is dubious of her own feelings. She knows she is falling for him, but as her monologue suggested, her judgment of Ram is still the same. He is the nice guy that everyone adores; who takes care of everyone and she is no special.
They decided their marriage to be only based on trust; there would be no love and companionship. When the trust was broken with Shivi’s eloped wedding, their marriage was almost ended by annulment. Even then, Ram wanted her to wait until the papers arrived, but Pri was ready to leave as a self-respected person. She knew she had no place here and didn’t want to stay. All changed in the interview. That was their inflection point.
I don’t blame Pri at all here; their journey was so rocky from the beginning that there was no scope of love at all. This was indeed a marriage of convenience. Yes, in a marriage of convenience, there is also the hope of love, but that door was closed by non-other than her husband himself. So how can a practical girl like her even think of love in this situation? Even yesterday she mentioned, all attachment leads to hurt. Indeed.

Now comes the hard work that Ram has to do. He is doing after the interview. He went to the bakery to bring her back to KM after the hotel-Anjali case. He made it clear that she is his present, and that’s all that matters. He was getting there from the Lohri dressing to the accident. Even though she was unconscious most of the time, she witnessed how he panicked on the accident site.
You know she started to feel their relationship shifting after the accident. Otherwise, in the dressing episode, she wouldn’t mention – "kya usme bhi heroine hero pe trust kar leti hai"? That was a BIG step from Pri. No wonder Ram gave a naughty smile. Yes, she did hint at them as a pair.
That’s when Ram started to persuade her diligently, and she acknowledged his efforts slowly. At the same time, we should give the credit to him for really walking on eggshells. They are getting comfortable daily. Now I see both of them wanting to be lovers. Ram started to increase the physical attraction/tension towards her. Earlier he would have just thanked her, but he pulled her passionately in the shower, and she was startled, but next time she won’t be. Ram has a long road ahead; his resolution to never love has to break for Pri to acknowledge her side of love. Even if she is in love, she won’t voice it unless Ram clears that statement.
So, I would say, let their journey unfolds.
