As per Indian law , daughter’s have equal rights . Parents are not obligated to transfer their properties to their kids . They can claim rights only if the property is ancestral one else parents have rights to handover to anyone they like and kids won’t have a say . This is about the law and I am sure makers aren’t thinking so far

I agree it’s better Virat get it fixed . I didn’t like that he let it remain like that but knowing him he might not want Sahas’s future to be effected because of his association with a criminal father like Sada . I hope they find a better way . If Sairat are back as a couple , Virat should talk to Sai about this and seek her permission before giving his name .

Virat can not be legal father to Sahas while Sada is alive and not in a mind to accept this at any cost. So Virat can shout from roof tops but that birth certificate becomes invalid. City of Nagpur or even the world knows that Sahas is the son of Sadanand Pawle,who is a naxalite.

So no,problem Sahas Pawle can not claim Virat’s legal heir rights.

Virat out of good will can sponsor his education just like rich people often do to help poor kids.

Sahas can never marry Savi,cos Virat called Shriti bhabhi when he first met Sada. So Sahas can be Savi’s brother. It would have been good had Virat continued calling Shriti bhabhi but he didn’t do so and let Shriti fly high with him in dreamland.

Another problem is sai’s earned money in the marriage is tied to virat unless they had a prenup which I don’t think is valid in india. So basically virat’s kids are in soup and at mercy of sahas.

not talking specific to this show where we should not think about legalities but in general also I was wondering if sahas could claim the property because he can always submit birth certificate but the parents are not married!! He comes under ‘illegitimate’. So it will be a complicated court mess 😅

I just checked with my lawyer brother and I am right. Birth certificate becomes invalid since hospital authorities will get information from judiciary Reg Shriti’s identity as Sadanand’s wife. So immediately they will make the birth certificate invalid and try get the original signature of father Sadanand with police help.

Sahas was not adopted legally and that is the advantage here. If Sada willingly offers his son for adoption,then that counts otherwise no.That also should be done by procedure. Hence a random signature from Virat won’t make Sahas a heir.

So no legal rights for Sahas over the property of Nagesh Chavan,Ninad Chavan ,Omkar Chavan and Virat Chavan.

So I am relaxed.

Thanks for the clarification. Good to know that Sahas will not be known as Virat’s son . I am not worried about the materialistic thing like money and property, it’s about Virat’s character, Sai’s rights . I don’t think Virat can adopt a baby without being married so if the adoption happens he will be known as Sairat son which I am ok but I was against him known as Shruthi and Virat’s son.
