See, she has always been shown as a girl who gives more importance to her family and their feelings than herself. I get that and I have no issues with that aspect either. But such a girl who knows love and knows its value should be able to value the love of her lover / boyfriend too. She does love Abhi. Not denying that. But the way she is being portrayed at the moment - it's not sitting well with me. Maybe because mine too is a love marriage and I know how it is when both sides of families are dead against it. I know how the couple count on each other for support. The emotional connect that happens at such a time. Not saying TV show should be realistic like that but a little bit of sensitivity is needed.

Remember when she defied bade papa to go to the police station? She said - jise jo karna chahe karle. But before leaving, she looked at him and said - sorry. She did realize her words and actions hurt Manish. By the same logic, shouldn't she realize how her words would be hurting her Abhi - esp after he came right out and told her - it hurts me when you say it like that?
