I could not sit through Akshara's self-righteous monologue and I definitely couldn't watch Jija calling his Maa to whine. So I still don't know what happened that led to the proposal but hey I can live with that!
It'll just have to remain a mystery to me, like what happened to Amelia Earheart or the Roanake colony of settlers😆

Beheno Eka, Pretty this conversation on marriage is going around in circles and my head is spinning... I'm happy being married, I do believe it's my choice and given a world where married couples and unmarried ones enjoy the same social status and legal rights, I would still prefer being married. Nobody is going to convince me that I don't realize I have been conditioned to think like this because I know I'm intelligent enough to see, read and understand the various povs on this and real life situations of human beings over time as far as is possible for me and I have come to my own conclusions. I absolutely don't say these are the only right conclusions, but I also don't agree that someone else's are the only right ones.

Also, I don't accept labels like feminist, progressive, liberal etc. and being required to fit completely into any one exactly because many of my views might align with one of those ideas. Yaar I'm just blabbering, it's difficult to carry on such convos in this way..

Topics like this are too personal and too complex for this type of forum😆 Yahan pe, we are here to enjoy - real life gives enough opportunities for stress, the world has become a very dark place. Here our biggest problem is JIJAJI's idhar udhar behavior, bad singing, bad dancing and ghatiya kapde - ekdum Utopia hai🤣
