I can’t believe Abhimanyu will ask his mother to leave her husband and live with him and his new wife, is he gone mad…? I said so yesterday in a post that he might do this ..and now that he has. I’m actually shocked,..they’ve reduced his character to even lower than what I expected..has he no respect for his parents marriage…sadly he’s no different from those Bhagban movie sons who expected their parents to live separately when they got old..it’s really disgusting 🤦🏻‍♀️..does he think when people pass their 40s or 50s then their relationships hold no value..does he not realise that children may move out and start their own lives…but parents/spouses stay together 😂

I guess Manjari Mata won’t leave Birla house hence her beta won’t leave it either. Wasn’t he ready to leave the house just a while ago after the mandir showdown? The writers are very inconsistent…

That's not what he meant or intended.

Manjari is in a toxic relationship, abusive and otherwise too. There is no justification for Harsh and his toxicity towards his wife.

And I'm with Abhi in this one. Start a peaceful life away from Harsh.

I can never forget how he was about to slap his wife once, how he always kept demeaning her and kept her under his feet

Nd I can also never forget how he once said for Abhimanyu's molestation case that uss ladki (Akshara) ko ghaseet ke laana padta toh le aata

That man gets no respect from me. And if I can hold grudges again Abhi for being Jija, then this far worse.

Actually to be fair to Abhimanyu I think the reason he has asked his mother is bcz it's not the first time that he has told her to leave the abusive relationship, he doesn't think that his mother has anything to save in it.. But it's true also that he should understand Manjari has other relationships in that house that mean much to her and which she wouldn't want to leave.. Uski zindagi ki kamayi hai.. Abhi sees only one aspect of the marriage, there are many others that he is blind to bcz of his immaturity and selfishness. Just like he doesn't seem to think that he owes anything to any body in his home except his mother.

I haven’t seen yesterdays episode but i see some collective truth in all your points. No doubt Abhimanyu’s outlook is self-centered and overbearing. Manjari has a life beyond being his doting Maa - as austen said, she has sweat equity in the Birla house and she has looked after all the kids. Nishtha seems to have vanished but theoretically is at an age when she would need someone looking out for her. And Neil and Parth obviously have a great affectionate bond with Manjari. Looking after the Birla house is literally her life’s work and being the carer of that joint family is a big part of her identity.

But also, despite Harsh's awful awful behavior, we've been shown on more than one occasion that Manjari does love him (why, who knows? maybe she was drawn to his AWAAZ once upon a time...).

I agree Harsh IS abusive and toxic but, for better or worse, that doesn’t invalidate Manjari's feelings for him and it's really not Abhimanyu's place to assume there is nothing left to salvage in their marriage as long as she may think there is. He thinks no one (not even Bade Papa) has the right to dictate the terms of his relationship with Akshara so what business is it of his to do the same with his parents relationship?

But also, I want to point out that right after the mandir jilting fiasco, Abhimanyu was perfectly ready to leave the Birla house WITHOUT his Maa, for his own reasons. So his now saying he'll do anything for Akshu but won't leave his Maa alone in the Birla house just comes across as hypocritical to me.
