See even in general also people are going to comment on K fam bringing a rich bahu in their fam especially because if superficial qualities are considered, Gun as an individual does not seem to match Anu. Yeh bakwaas kal AS bhi kar rahi thi ki Anu is only marrying Gun because she is a rich bimbo.

So if they ask for financial help then of course it would seem like they are doing the rishta for money only. Dahej jaise hi dikhega logo ko. So even if they themselves & even the Bhatanangars will understand ki it is a genuine crisis & will help but phir wohi inequality wali baat ho jayegi in the rishtedaari as well as their image in society. So I am glad that they are not asking for help from them.

But they do need to tell them the reason for cancelling or delaying the marriage instead of letting them worry needlessly. It is not fair to them ki they just accept that shaadi will be postponed because of some unknown trouble.

Yes I know duniya Zamane ne thoda kuch samjhna hota hai.. unko toh baaatwin banane ka shauk hai and we ate seeing that with people like GC ke colleagues and AS ..duniya aise hi creeps se bhari padi hai unfortunately ughh

Just watched it & I really liked it.

Ronit-Sangeeta are amazing as Kanwal-Swarna. Such a lovely couple. Both of them love eachother a lot.

Swarna is too in love with her kids. Sab kuch baccho ke liye. Kanwal also loves his kids but he is practical enough to understand that they have grown distant with them & based on their history do not reciprocate the same level of love. I think Swarna is so free about her love for her kids because of the strength of Kanwal's love for her. He protects her from the harsh reality & her own denial also plays a part in that.

The eldest son Nakul is wohi typical NRI who is enamored of western life style & has forgotten all of his roots & love for parents. Bohat for granted le liya apne parents ke pyaar ko & ab koi kadar nahi unki. Entitlement bhi kaafi hai. Biwi ko khush rakhne ke liye apni saas se acche se baat karega but apni maa se nahi. The second son also seems to live in NY. Abhi tak toh bohat bhaichara dikh raha hai baad main dekhenge kitna tikta hai bhaichara. Youngest won wants to be an actor & is always asking for money from parents.

Ab Swaran wants to break her last FD to give money to the youngest. Kanwal is discussing insurance with his agent. He has kept Swaran as the sole nominee because he knows apne beto ki aukaat. Ghar bhi I guess Swarna ke naam pe hi hoga. So once he dies all the kids will be against Swarna to get their hands on the money & property & Swaran would not give into their demands because looks like they will refuse to give them any help when Kanwal's health issue happens. Swaran will realise the behissi & selfishness during this crisis & after Kanwal's death the kids will plot against Swaran for the insurance money & property.

yeah honestly the ons were too meh and i won't lie i kinda skipped wohParty wala part caz that just isn't my scene toh acha dusra bhi wahi n hai intresting.. but owh toh baghban main bhi 2 bhai had more bhaichara i think sameer soni and woh doggies wlaa jo doggies ko rakh lega but mummy appa nahi haha i rememebr that.

and that should be it she shoudl not give them anythin i think wahan se hi aayega bachon se talak concept though i really am hopign itni jaldi na kill kar dein bedi saab ko.. could it be someoen else caz int hat pyre burnign scene swaran is kinda wearing a fancy suit .. haan youngest ko paisa chahiye and tabhi yaad aaye mummy papa jab paisa chahiye tha i liekd his striaght nahi doonga bhai and bahiayon ak asli bhaicahra jaydad pe hi pata chalega ya jab mom ko rakhna padega

Ha baaghbaan main bhi bhaiyon ki banti thi but phir bhi parents ki zimmedari ek dusre pe thopte rehte the.

I am not sure about sab bete pyaar na kare maa-baap se yeh concept. Baghban main bhi I didn't like ki not one of the kids loved them enough. Agar ek lauta beta hota hai toh it is believable but real life main not every kid ends up like that. But drama ke liye kuch bhi.

I am also hoping ki Bedi ji doesn't die very early. But real story usi ke baad start honi hai. Maybe they can show him being seriously ill for a while & Swaran realising the reality of her kids then. She will witness them not having even token love or insaaniyat for their parents ka situation & that will result into her transformation from baccho ke liye sab kuch Swaran to I will not let you benefit from the death of your father whom you didn't help in the time of need. Death ke baad they can show his scenes in flashbacks.

nhaan it is difficult to believe na. it gets funny when you show the parents being so well mannered and all too and also the ones who seem to have actually given love and care to kids likeif they have been the estranged kinda not giving enough attention toh bhi kids beign so estranged makes sense but yeah it is harsh reality too ke koi bhi zimmedari nahi chahta maa baap end up being taken for granted in amny cases for many people and they do not realize the extent of estrangedness or badtameezi and hurt they end up causing without even intending to do so in many cases

Re: KKIS.....haha it wasn't hard to guess that Gun would jump into some attempt to help the Ks.....standard ITV bahu trope😆....toh laana hi tha in some form sooner or later.....as you both mentioned, I also liked those bits where Gun was sober for a bit and pointed out that it is her right to know why the shaadi was called off since it was HER shaadi....lol but she realizes that the family doesn't want her to know the reason as of now so she will respect that too.

Round Chachu was amongst the earliest people in K family to give her unconditional love....lol ab toh pucca usko soot samet return karegi by standing up for him and he will become a bigger fanboy of future bahu than ever before😆.

And yes it's deffo worth noting ki even as she shows happiness about shaadi being called off, she is still saying things like Bullet Aunty is her Bua too😆

Bechaare Round Chachu toh ekdum unravel ho gaye cursing himself so much in his despair ki Anugun ki shaadi also got called off cuz of him.....lol koi baat nahin, aapko phir se shipping ka mauka milega Golu ji😆

Re: SG....you know scenes mein toh aisa kuch khaas naya nahin hai ki koi never before seen relationship ho of a mature couple....but it's the DELIVERY from Ronit and Sangeeta that makes it so lovely....woh subtle moments where he's chiding her ki pheeke rang mat pehna karo or the little nok-jhonk in the kitchen when he refuses to have chai but panics when she says ki phir jaao main baat nahin karungi😆. Another bit I think was really well executed was the bit where they are talking about FD tudvana in the Gurudwara.....the way Swaran transitioned from requesting him first to then digging in ki meri FD hai, main toh tudvaungi.....Sangeeta is showing a different kind of thehraav in her acting in this role....having seen her in her last few older woman/mom roles, woh farak dikh raha hai of what she's trying to variate here and it's lovely to watch that acting caliber and capacity to do something like this. Script thodi dhang ki dein toh she can pull off something lovely with this role but baaki toh time will tell. Mixed hi hai Sargun-Ravi ka track record especially vis a vis that Udaariyaan....lol....let's see if they can make a show work without sautan drama at this point....would be a welcome change for ITV if they can.
