Hmm thats food for thought. But why to take a leap? They can be shown with the baby, taking care of her like parents do. And it will be at least 6-8 months for kinju baby to actually have the baby.

Its supposed to be a progressive serial though isn’t it? The whole point is about Anu breaking free from a toxic family and discovering her self worth.

In that process she has come across Anuj, fallen in love, and will probably get married to him.

A part of this new beginning can also be raising a baby with him, she will anyway be that kids grandmom, even though she is raising it.

There are so many couples who raise their grandkids.

And in this case they have clearly shown both of them to be only 45 and they have established that Anu got married too young, so I dont think GK and Rups will have any problem.

But it has to be done in a classy way, because maternal mortality during labour is a very sensitive topic and so is adoption.

I’m not sure the writers are capable of doing that.
But I feel that it will be a very satisfying end to the show. Anupama’s evolution into a career woman should also be shown meanwhile. And we all know that she is an excellent mother, who will be the most suitable for a motherless child. And Anuj will discover the joys of fatherhood.
