I’m tagging altgr (hope you don’t mind altgr) here because her point is right. Pinkvilla isn’t claiming the movie needs 200cr. It is claiming the movie only needs around 80-85 cr.

But, and this is a big but, suddenly Pinkvilla along with most others has adapted a new method of explaining hits and flops. They keep talking about how much profit the producers need to make. We all know with Bollywood movies it’s about how much profit the distributors make. No one is even mentioning how much it was sold to distributors for. BOI even claimed that the movie only needs 65cr to be a hit since the producers have made money from Sattalite and music rights. No. That’s not how Bollywood works.

So brining this full circle with this topic and Pooja’s tweet, even if the numbers themselves aren’t fudged the analysis of those numbers are definitely being manipulated. For the time being at least. BOI is known for changing their verdicts after a few months.

Okay.... I am miffed about PB's tweet but why much DP trolling suddenly? 😆 Are we now going to find out that DP somehow persuaded / paid Pooja Bhatt to put out a tweet against her own sister? 🤣

I am not very fond of Deepu, but the pot shots at Chapaak here doesn't make any sense to me. For one, Chapaak didn't have an SLB for a director. Secondly it *clashed* with a big movie like Tanhaji.

Are we sure Gangubai would have enjoyed the same run people are so boasting about right now, had it released on the same day with Sooryavanshi? 🤓
